They older Sippys are used to brush the problem under the carpet that’s why they never faced emergencies but now since the kids are growing and new members are coming to the family who are used to talk about issues, the elders are facing these situations

I think they are more scared about the question that would follow than about adoption itself with regards to her biological parents. But still this could have been avoided had they told her before only.
