I agree this is the reason if this spoiler is true.

Sid might have thought that he needs to get the gang back together since things are back to square 1 after the entry of wildcards in order to win tasks and stay ahead in the game.

Arti would've anyway been in Sid's team but saving her is an insurance policy to ensure her loyalty.

The biggest and most valuable free player who both Sid and Rashmi need and want for their group is Asim.

Whoever gets Asim gets someone who is very popular in terms of fans and is perhaps the 2nd best at tasks (after Sid).

So to have him in their team would be very valuable in terms of winning tasks and for group numbers as he has a lot of fans who will keep saving him till the finale.

Now Asim already has a soft corner for Sid due to their past so the only thing needed to push him over the edge and ensure his loyalty is to save Himanshi.

So if the spoilers are true then by saving Himanshi I feel like Sid thinks he can get Asim to come back to his group. But will Asim fall for it and go back to Sid even after Sid saves him and Himanshi? That's to be seen.

The biggest loser in all this hodge podge mess is Paras who's now essentially na ghar ka na ghat ka 😂😂😂

"Masla" staked everything to defend him and his arrogant,abusive behaviour during those confrontations that Sid had with Asim.

She got nominated in return.
