Also, many reality shows since some years have this narrative of rags to not-so-riches storyline. So much so that Krishna on an Indian Idol Episode I think, asked singers to write dukhbari kahaanis and make their life sound sorry to win the show. It was hilarious.

I am not saying Asim is not genuinely financially disadvantaged, lekin on a show like this, as in on our forum too which is a microcosm, not picking the bait or falling for the trap is the biggest skill as I see it. Apne kanthe pe khade hoke talwar chalane ka chance kisi ko kyun de? Foolish, not to mention insensitive. And Sana, Super foolish.
