One of the main off-putting thing about the majority of the food documentaries are the number of unscientific claims they spewed on these. Scientists already criticised the validity of scientific content in this documentary. Review by Dr. Layne Norton. & Meredith Root
I heard one of the hilarious they were trying to convince in this documentary is that the early human were vegetarians. Yes, we ate fruits, before agriculture come in to picture (~ 11,000 years ago) we were hunter-gatherers, which is more than 90% of human history, our ancestors didn't run after plants. These are basics of anthropology, twisting well-established facts and history only make their attempt counterproductive.
You are right. Because as far as my knowledge of history textbooks goes, man as homo-sapiens has been a farmer, and a hunter.
