I get the desperation, but there is not an iota of similarity between the others’ pushes and Shukla’s violence. Others have had an instance or two of it - which deserves bashing and punishment I agree - Shukla has been more violent just this week than entire seasons’ worth.

That wimp Vishal was sitting there trying to whitewash Shukla’s violence, a la Sallu and Co, but Shukla, for once, accepted ke no - I pushed with great force. But he’s still there isn’t he? And still mahaan? And he’ll continue to be there, post a relaxing secret room stay or not.

Verbal, non-violent provocation pe violence = justified - iss defense se hi toh assaulters/domestic abusers ki dukaan chalti hain. The hypocrisy and double standards of BB and Sallu are such ke allowances have been made for Shukla all season and will continue to be made. But beyond that - it’s not ok, ever.

This game used to be about juggling the pressures being locked up in such an environment puts on one - and controlling one’s self against them. You can’t control - you break the rules - you get out. Not so for Shukla of course.

Dey’s verbal reaction to Sana’s provocation was bashed, because tab provocation/instigation toh allowed tha - name of the game. But different rules for different people. For me - both Sana and Dey needed to be bashed then, despite my agreement ke instigation is fine - limit mein. And here Asim should be bashed and punished, and Shukla should be out.
