I dont think it resembles fatmagul besides the rape issue. Fatmagul was engaged and after she was gang raped she was forced to marry one of the alleged rapists. Not till the husband fell in love with her and tried to get her justice and only then her battle with the other real rapists started, not to mention her crazy ex fiance. Here Sameera will most probably be persuaded to go and move on with salman her husband and after things worsen she along with her brother and the other doctor might fight for her case. Also in fatmagul they showed the rapists lives in much detail while i think the guys in this show wont be as featured.

I agree with you...that’s why I said ‘loosely based’ .....what I feel is that the rapists would be shown later as belonging to influential families and Sameera’s fight for justice with them would be influenced by Fatmagul ....there might be similarities in that part...just a hunch,I might be wrong though.

This is the problem with most of ARY dramas. They start off strong , then get slow. But they manage high TRPs because of the strong start..while HUM dramas start slow, and then get interesting, but they lose viewers because of the slow start.😒

Dr feroz family was introduced yesterday. his mom wants him to marry his younger brother widow. The widow was earlier engaged to him but he left her and she ended up marrying his brother who was ill.

Felt bad for her father when he was speaking with his wife but when he again was against sameera fighting for justice then again i got angry at him. If he regrets not be able to save her, then atleast he should do something now to help her heal

Salman is clumsy, in episode he was mean but teaser he was softer towards Sameera.

liking Hamza

I think more will be revealed abour Dr Feroz as the story progresses. He seems to be a person with crystal clear vision so may be there is reason of him eloping from his own wedding. But for now, apart from Sameera and Hamza, his character intrigues me and I want to know more about him.

Salman unfortunately represents the 90% of the male population mentality in south Asian countries, Where equality in a relationship is just mere talks. He might make high claims of really loving Sameera, but when it comes to respecting the person, giving equal importance to the other person's needs, wants, desires,pain and trauma and need for justice; Salman conveniently ignores it and rather blames sameera for being stubborn and unreasonable. I think he character will just keep going downhill from here on.

Yes he just claims to love but it's not there in reality. Like sana said in the intv "pyar bolne se nehi hota" love doesnt come from saying it. Respect, understanding trust all mean love. Salman i feel is stuck due to his sister and maybe thats why openly isn't taking a decision rather he is finding excuses to end it.. his thought process is shallow bec he rather think about his own discomfort not sameera state of mind. Sameera is firm but I feel she will not go ahead just yet Bec from the teasers seems the bidaai will happen in coming episodes

Dr feroz surely is intriguing and a game changer in the story. I want to see more of his scenes with Sameera.

Salman mom is another mess, she probably doesn't even have 1 good bone in her body

Yes, Sameera will bow down for now and back off due to salman's and her family pressure. I guess there will be some important triggers in the upcoming episodes, that will make her stand up again and take the decision of fighting for her justice. And I guess at that time, she will not be confined by any societal or family pressure.

I really like the portrayal of reality here. It would have been odd to show Sameera being super strong and fighting for her justice by going against everyone right in the very beginning. I think it is very important to show that Sameera is very much humane and not some super girl, who did succumb to her family pressure, but ultimately choose to rise against these pathetic norms and fight for her rights and justice all by herself. With this the makers are showing that once a women makes up her mind, she doesn't need anyone to walk with her or support in her journey, she is well capable of reaching her destiny with just truth and her almighty by her side.

Yes they will take their time and show sameera finally take the decision of fighting but before that they will show her put in every effort she can to save her marriage with Salman..her marriage with Salman is very important to her and when she will finally realise that it's over only then she will be fearless enough to stand up alone. Salman is disappointing we all know but I like how miqaal is playing the role. Such a thorough actor he is.

The hamza and younger sister dinner table scene was meaningful

I have problem with two actor, one is Dr. Feroz

Another is Sameera's dad actor.

I don't know why I don't like both actors. Other than Dr. Feroz family would be interesting.

Dad guy is almost in all shows. and I'm allergic to this guy from Suno Chanda..

I have a hunch that one of the rapist would turn out to be Dr. Firoz’s nephew who was introduced indirectly ( he had shut himself in the room when his mom was urging him to open the door )
