And after Minnie's departure he will lose even more of himself. It's just sad that he had to lose all this over things that should have been trivial enough to sort but wasn't. Very sad.

Sadly this does happen in real life too. Trivial things can indeed bring down relationships and destroy everything when people aren’t able to manage them for a variety of reasons....including hurt and ego. 🤷‍♀️....there can be a lot of love and still circumstances can be out of your control.

HS and Minnie are the best (worst) example of this.

As far as season ending epis go, this one got the emotional tone down right for all the characters.....Babita conflicted between her ego and her pain over losing her daughter.....Mini conflicting between yearning for her mother but hurt that her mother chose anger over Mini.....HS caught in the middle - his heart breaking over losing Mini and the sadness of mother daughter unable to bridge the distances between them.

I'm not sure why so many people still think this was "unrealistic". Just because we wanted a happy ending for these characters that suffered so much, does not make this tragic ending unrealistic. Maybe others here have been fortunate to never witness more than one period of pain in their lives so they feel that life is fair that it will guarantee happiness after suffering......sadly, in many cases, it does not.

There are no guarantees that adults can't mishandle relationships....that doesn't make it "unrealistic" or "butchering"......it means personality flaws exist in everyone and can impact relationships in different ways.....can leave lasting damage beyond what people may realize.

The writers wanted to make a general point about rising above victimhood.....the execution may have gone through some hiccups intermittently but the larger point holds. They used a tragic route to highlight it for whatever reason but that doesn't necessarily make that unrealistic....it just makes it sad and painful.

There is far more suffering in this world than many of us can comprehend.....yes, ideally, in a fictional show, we would like there to be hope, positive endings, overcoming of challenges.....but just because it does not happen in one phase of the story, doesn't make it unrealistic or bad. It just makes it sad.

This family found each other, built a home together, even if it was brief.....and built a lifetime of memories together even in a short period. That journey is worth cherishing regardless of the tragic fallout.

Waise bhi, I'm pretty sure these characters will loom large over season 2 and color it in every way.....they've left so much unfinished.....Mini will spend the rest of her life trying to find answers and some resolution for all that happened....she will likely learn new sides to the POVs of HS and Babita through the other remaining characters.

Totally agree with everything but esp the bold parts. Again an episode i didn't expected to make sense or personally liking it but am actually pretty inpressed by how the makers actually ended up dping what they wanted but still make it logical and drawn out driving a point ublike other shows where overnight leaps happen without any sar pair. Here we still have a lot to look forward too and overall story is ongoing just a phase is over just like in real life. Zindagi ek hi jaggah rukti nahi one goes through so many phases bohat log aate hain jaate hain kuch contsants rehte hain hit at the end har ek ki zindagi ek constant journey hai and that continies regardless.... here too mini's story is ongoing and in her Babita and HS's too. Just caz we might not see thrm on regular basis from tomorrow doesn't mean the end.

You are right about this isn't butchering or unrealistic by any means caz just look around how many of us in real life have moved on for one or tother reason from our parents home or moved asay emotionally or physically for different reasons so how is that unrealistic. Haan that is dofferent ke har kisi ki backstory dofferent hai some arw on very healthy good terms some have soured relationships none of that by any means means end or unrealistic.

Anyway i am actually happy with the way they have managed to conclude despite my unhappiness and dislike for ending the characters of HS ,NB and babita overall . Woh toh phans hai but yahan makers have managed to actually sell their leap which is rare in ITV

So true.....zindagi rukti nahin hai....kisi na kisi tarhaan chalti rehti hai.

I was also thinking the same.....they set up the leap better than I expected. All we have around us as examples otherwise are really crappy setups for leaps in most ITV shows with sloppy/hurried execution just to get the "high voltage" drama over with.

But PB never went down that level of high voltage drama also....yes, they dramatized some things for dramatic effect, tragedy etc.....but overall, however the emotions were depicted didn't feel "unrealistic" to me......yeah, I wish the characters could have risen above some things and communicated with each other.....but I can't even deny that it does so happen in life many times that people aren't able to communicate and lose relationships over it.

It's all very tragic but somehow in these last few epis, I felt for all the characters....even Babita....her tragedy in fact is the ultimate....she still hasn't fully realized WHY she lost what she did. Atleast HS knows that for him, it was a lack of courage in many ways.

It's painful to see this family fall apart like this but at the same time, I can't work up anger at the writers.....I cannot deny that many things they showed of personality flaws are true of people....we are all so many shades of this. Just that when we see it on beloved characters, we recoil and we can't accept that people can fail like this....we don't WANT them to fail like this....but sadly, that doesn't put it out of the realm of possibility.

On a different note, Mini doesn't look 23 in the precap from any angle....lol have 5 years really passed in that time, ki beech ka koi time dikhaayenge maybe? 😕😆

KRITAGYA hoon, BHAAV VIBHOR hoon.....haha man, AD ki shudh Hindi makes me nostalgic for my school Hindi books 😆

Lovely messages from the director and Bobby. The director is very talented....his work in the show has been lovely 👏....he really captured the varied emotions of the characters in a nuanced manner.
