You know, if Babita had sincerely apologized to Minnie and pleaded with her not to leave she might have even had a chance. From Minnie's packing scenes it was really clear that she was leaving with some bitterness towards Babes but so much love for HS. The way she kissed that camera and remembered his hug (which she won't get before leaving, I guess 😭)

I guess HS will be on the brink of walking out but then they realise Babita is preggers and he turns into full protective mode. Also puts every human emotion into that relationship with his child I guess. Babita will also probably feel some guilt and will help him spoil Arya to no ends 🙁. Seriously I'm so drained by this drama.

I have a feeling she is, and that's what stops him from walking out. When she sat on the stairs and he looked at her from a distance, there was none of the previous emotions for her in his eyes. He wasn't able to feel her pain anymore. The signs were all there. Of course, she is clueless about the fact that she pretty much ripped his heart out too after what she did.

Living in the uk you see this a lot because of single mums. When the relationship ends sour, the children are the ones to suffer. The mum and dad both move on with other partners but all the while because the mums affections have changed they automatically expect the kid to regard the latest man as “dad”, stop the kids seeing the father and spend every moment possible turning them against their father. They had the potential here to show the difference in spousal relationship and parental. Ashok wasn’t a perfect parent but babita is not a perfect mother also. Just because he was a bad husband doesn’t mean he should be automatically denied the chance to be a father. But with mothers like babita it’s got to be one or the other. Similarly she expected mini to not speak to her own grandparents because of the in-laws they were to her. Not even that, primarily it was so they don’t question HER as a mother and say she’s too focused on her new marriage (which she ended up being anyways) lmao

It also depends on what the dad was like. If he's an abusive asshole, then even I wouldn't my kid near him. While he wasn't physically abusive with Babita, he was with Minnie. He has verbally degraded both of them, and hit Minnie multiple times just to show his authority.

For these reasons, Babita will be right in not wanting Minnie to be anywhere near him. Instead, she flipped it around and made it all about how he'll make Babita look bad. Loll, what? After all the shit he pulled right in front of Minnie, how the heck is he going to make you look bad?

If anything, he might keep his relationship separate from Babita's. I.e., NB might not come over to the Haveli, but he might go to hers. Besides, with Arya's arrival, Idk how he'll keep NB from being a part of their lives.

I think Arya's arrival will resolve some of the malaal between maa-beta. Besides, all said and done, she does love him and cannot cut herself off. I am sure what she said to Babita was in anger too.

It's a true shame because it will be truly haunted until Arya comes around. Until she does, the Haveli will be so hollow. Log reh toh re hai, but zinda laash ki taara.

Sirf HS hi zinda laash rahega. I can see Babita pick herself up and get busy with domestic affairs pretty soon. She won't even notice that her husband has become a zombie.
