It is but it also has the whole mhaara, thaara, tanne, manne, etc. so his transition wouldn't be so difficult. Not that accents are difficult for him.

I wouldn't mind hearing him do one of the South Indian languages, or maybe Assamese or Bengali.

He is but he said in an interview that he can't speak Gujrati since I guess he grew up in Udaipur. He should be a pro at Rajasthani, then.
