She has a strong off screen presence, great body positivity despite venomous comments for being skinny.

She had made a mark as Sonakshi in her previous show because it was a reflection of her off screen persona! Strong, independent and full of passion.

We are standing in the 21st century and no one likes to watch a grovelling female fighting for a man! Distasteful to be precise, hence the hatred she garners as Prerna.

Women aren’t dependent on men anymore and everyone wants to see that, even TRP audience. They are evolving slowly.

That’s the whole challenge with Prerna! Probably that’s why the hate!

I am so happy for Erica for gaining adulation. Popularity and adulation is not an affirmation of good work but a reminder that you have a responsibility to grow, evolve and find passion for your craft! That’s how it should be.
