Who should play madhubala?

Imtiaz ali has apparently acquired rights for a movie or series based on her.

Priyanka Kandwal.

But I wish they never make it, Imtiaz is not fit for it given his previous work.

Ileana would be a good choice - she has good looks and acts well too!

I'd rather SLB makes this...its got all of his strengths. Drama, old-school Bollywood, simplicity of the 50s, a tragic life and a beautiful heroine

If this was made in the 90s Madhuri would've been absolutely perfect.

I don't think there's anyone in today's time who can do justice. Sure they are pretty, but they do not have the innocent gorgeousness and simplicity to play this role.

Lookswise, Disha could do it, but she does not have the acting ability or the body.

Can’t think of any good looking actresses with the acting chops to play the lead... hopefully they find a beautiful new face for it...

Keerthy was so good as Savitri..there is hope.

Many can play Waheeda,as she has sharp features(Sonam has the look)

Madhubala and Meena Kumari have 'heavy' faces..not popular these days..

Keerti Kharbanda or Rakul they both have bubbly, mischievous kind of outlook. Though they might not resemble Madhubalaji , but they have potential. Also biopic needs fresh face youth not much popular in order to have most impact these actresses are pretty new to bollywood, not many movies, so they can pull off.

Yami Gautam...she has the looks and talent to carry it off
