i think you can also have a layer where the blending mode can be "difference/exclusion" (i think "difference" mode is slightly harsh though) where the colors go b&w & you create a separate layer, fill it up with golden color (or similar color), & lighten (blending mode) that layer , you can change the opacity to whatever preference...seems like a lot of work but at least thats how i can get a b&w +golden layer...i think there are better methods though lol...
i've also seen interesting colors where, in the isolation technique the black color is substituted by dark brown colors..
