After Babita’s revelation that he was loving and caring towards her, I even said, Ashok is someone who is nice until someone doesn’t go against him. Even though whatever he did, I still put him in that category of men which HS explained after divorce, who can’t keep a leash on their worst side.

But he was selfish. Like Lovely is. It’s basic Khurana trait. That was consistent for me.

All said and done, No other character had done about 360 that Babita’s character did. We were never shown Ashok to make judgement about him. His nice and normal side was never revealed to us. Whereas for Babita, there have been 180 episodes of her being complete opposite to what we are witnessing right now.

NB was warning her against going to psychologist coz that will ruin Mini’s image. Babita still went ahead and consulted psychologist coz that was going to be helpful to Mini. Babita asked Mini to not be bothered with cooking and do whatever she likes. Dream and don’t compromise them. She has voiced against Rano for marrying off Preet so early.

I can’t get on board that this is same Babita. I haven’t see any person in real life doing about 360. Basic character traits remain.

But you are free to discuss her.

For me, I find it funny: to each their own. Some of us who called HS - babes few scenes as marital bliss has been indirectly taunted again and again for enjoying this marital bliss. So members do make fun of each other’s opinions on IF. It’s very common.

i completely agree with you babita did show a good progression in between. But she is right now just clinging on to HS she sees no other thing and purpose. Saroj has spoiled her mind saying she should make no mistake this time. And HS by giving all the reign in her hands has given her a false sense that she is the one who should be taking decisions. Untill now babita decicions even after she moved out of the house were taken in consultation with mini & HS and NB also sometimes. So when given the power of taking decicions she is making a mess

And yes there are women like this who never grow out of this society thing. Its not a village thing. My own aunts are like this and they live in a city. For many women girls are not needed to make a career. they can marry and husbands will take care of them. Graduation and all are just for degrees, to say that the girl is educated. This kind of thinking still exists in some conservative families in india. And the thing is this is what babita is thinking about herself after marriage so there is no doubt she is now thinking the same for mini too. earlier the thought for independence was because she had no one to take care of her after ashok left her. Now that she has found a husband like HS she thinks all her issues were because ashok was not good or left her, if she has a husband like HS she will never have to face what she faced with ashok so financial independence is not important if HS is her husband. So ideally her thinking is if mini too gets a good partner financial independence will not be important for her too.

If she was so vindictive, egoist, then how come khuranas, mini, HS kisi ko pata nahi chala. Sab gyaanis hai na. 17 yrs kaise chupa rakha nature! 😆 Hidden planning plotting vamp dikhadete toh more believable hota. Maybe she is not real babita. Lookalike vamp hai. Babes got kidnapped. This will be revealed in coming episodes.

And you think writers, when they started to write this story initially, wanted to show story of one such woman? Cause for a long period of time I thought babita would become successful in her career, I saw no indication of her becoming housewife again, selling her shop and putting Minnie's education at risk for a really long time. Infact most of her decision shook me and seemed out of character to me especially last two.

mere mein ton ab himmant nahi kissi show ko start karne ki... got attached to PB too much.. at one point I’m regretting why I started... then next thought is for good... that I could see good show until 180 episodes... now my bheja got fried too much...

Babita - Selfish.

Ashok’s blood related sister Lovely - Selfish.
Beeji - Selfish. Dadu is little bit ok. But no real stand of his own.

Babita’s blood related Brother Pinku - Selfish.
no idea about her parents.

Whose genes are in Mini? How is she so sane and giving and sacrificing and understanding and mature? Her both side of blood related family is twisted.

This proves Babita and Hanuman had affair before Babita’s Marriage with Ashok. And Mini is Hanuman’s daughter. Makes Babita equal to Ashok, a cheater. And this twist will be revealed in Season 2. Mini and Arya will come to know they are real sisters. The END!

That’s the only way it makes sense for Mini to turn out the way she did. 😃
