I think its like sony's other show yeh undinon ke baat hai. There too they retained younger looking actors for leap also. So they will retain all characters with only HS/Babes gone as they may not have anything substantial in leap and actors did not want to be in leap.

Arya is posing exactly like Babita. Also kinda looks like Babita. That’s cute. She is holding a police doll and the way she’s talking to Mini bindaas...She will be exactly like HS. That’s so cute. I might give 1st episode after the leap a try just to see Hanita’s kid and what she’s like 😆

The only good part of all this is that Hanita got to spend time with their daughter even if it’s just for few years.
