There's a very cold, practical aspect to Pakistani dramas-and society in that sense lol. And I kind of admire it, tbh.

I came back to desi dramas after watching a lot of western media and its the first difference you notice lol. The non-desi people focus a lot on this idea of romance and love or even lust. In our dramas I think if they've accepted their marriage they've also accepted what that relationship entails.

The first drama I saw was Choti si Zindagi and I was so confused because he didn't even seem to respect his wife and was still crying over lost love. I still think that was an especially weird scenario.

I don't get one thing though.. does Daniyal actually think Zara cheated on him? Or he is angry because she accused him and is unhappy with her not do modern outlook to life? That part is not clear to me

I don't think Zara has any intention of telling Daniyal about her pregnancy.. she wants to be accepted for her own self and not gor her baby.. kudos to her for that

I think he thinks she is still in touch with nadeem. And also because she doesn't trust him . Ofcourse he knows he hasn't done anything wrong but alizey is twisting things.

The execution of a circumstantial marriage relation between Zara and Daniyal could have made for a hit serial. But the makers rushed the whole thing and we got some half baked arranged relation story, in which accusations and insecurities had more screen space than understanding, chemistry, sparks and everything that is romance.

It was so underdeveloped that when they showed Daniyal crying I was actually wondering, acha he liked her enough to cry after her??? The scene just didn't click for me.

The constant disappointments with serials has me missing all those gems that I had watched a few years back. Why did I have to watch all of them then itself?! Nowadays I have nothing that I can actually fully enjoy.

Now it's getting silly . Please tell me Nadeem wont be so stupid and it's going to finish next week !!
