I think it looks good! The posters were SLBish but I think the trailers seem more focused on the story whereas SLB loves giving more importance to his visuals than the content tbh.

Hmm I wasn’t aware of the Sanjay part but I think Ashutosh still has industry’s respect due to Lagan and Jodha Akbar. One Mohenjodaro wouldn’t change that. Though this one might tip the scale against him from the looks of it. That being said, yea maybe Arjun is more of a reason for social media support the trailer is getting.

Well I like the trailer... And as someone said sadashiv rav is nephew of bajirav so obviously things will be similar personally I am more excited to watch this movie than the bajirav mastani its more focused on war rather than some stupid love story. And melodramatic romantic dialogues. If only arjun kisi jagah HR Hota.... 🥺

Ok the story looks simple enough, if you don't compare it to the SLB movies and other gowarikar movies. Arjun kapoor's voice was not powerful enough, but his acting was much better than his other stuff. Maybe because the film doesn't require him to express a range of emotions. In TV too i have seen many actors excel in mytho even if they are barely average actors.

SLB, if you are looking for a new heroine for period drama, there you go. kriti is better looking than aloo and equally able in acting.

Sanjay dutt makes a formidable villain than khilji.

Background music is meh. CGI is average.

It's not bad but it looks like it borrowed scenes from Bajirao Mastani, borrowed costumes from Padmaavat (especially) and BM both and presented them like a spoof and sets directly from Jodhaa Akbar (there's one place that's so much like Akbar's throne, the battleground, and the tent setting that is similar to the one where Akbar goes to meet Jodhaa to talk about her 2 conditions before consenting to marriage)

Kriti Sanon looks good bas nothing else in the trailer is new
