PART 23

Maan: To mat karo dur. Shayad maine batane me bohot der kar di Hain. Mujhe to aisa lagta hain Geet ki aisi halat ka jimmedar main hi hun. Darta raha ki tum mere bare me kya sochoge.

Brij feeling confused

Brij: Saf saf bolo Maan mere kuch samaj nahi aa raha.

Maan: Tumhari Gudiya ko main pasand karta hun. I really love her. Main shadi karunga Geet se.

Brij felt surprised by his confession before him. Maan saw his expression

Brij: Maan tum

Maan: Brij please mujhe galat mat samajho. My feelings are Genuine.

Bri was surprised

Brij: Ye sab kab se chal raha hain. Tum aur gudiya hamare peeth piche....

Maan: No Geet dont no anything about my feelings. Dont blame her. She is naive. Dont be angry.

Brij made himself calm.

Brij: I know you have golden heart Maan. Tum kabhi kisi ka janbujhkar dil nahi dukhaoge. Tum aise ladke ho jaisa shayad har ek ladki apne liye chahti hain.

Maan: Iska matlab tum mujhe tumhari gudiya ke layak samajhte ho.

Brij: Maan Hum is bare me bad me baat karenge.Too late tum so jao.

Maan: Brij tum mujhse naraj ho.

Brij: Nahi Maan. Par ab tum jao. Good night.

Maan: Good night Brij.

Maan left half heartedly from there. He came to KM.

In his room,

Maan" maine sahi kiya kya Brij se kehkar wo mere bare me kya soch raha hoga.

He slept somehow.

Next morning,

Anjali: Maan bete utho. Aapki coffee.

Maan wake up at saw time.

Maan: Its late.

Anjali: Wahi to aap itni der tak nahi sote.

Maan: Wo kal rat ko. (Maan remembered convo with Brij) Wo US ke friend ka call tha to us wajah se late soya.

Anjali: Fresh ho jao. Breakfast ke liye hum wait kar rahe hain.

Maan: Mom aap coffee le jao. Niche aa kar hi breakfast ke saath lunga.

Maan went to washroom. While taking shower he remembered Geet crying thought" Pata nahi Brij ka bartav is bar mujhe nahi samajh aaya. Mujhe usase baat karni hogi.

He get ready and came down all were gathered for breakfast.

Amar: Good morning Maan. Mil gaya waqt aapko.

Maan: Good morning dad.

Anjali gave him coffeee. Dadi didnt say anything just observing Maan.

Amar: To kaisa chal raha hai internship aur job. Bhuliye mat hume bhi aapki jaroorat hai. KC waiting for new owner thats you.

Maan: Dad please.

Amar: What please?

Anjali: aap use aram se khane dijiye na office lekar baith gaye.

Amar: Aram se par kab breakfast ke bad gayab hoga to phir hone se rahi mulaqat. Ho sake to office aa jana.

While they were having breakfast Geet came to KM. Maan felt satisfaction seeing her ok. He was stealing glances at her while having breakfast.

Anjali: Aao bachha. Hamare sath brealfast karo.

Geet: Nahi aunty.

Amar: Achha thik hai juice pi lo.

Anjali made her sit.

Dadi: Aapki tabiyat kaisi hai?

Geet: Ab thik lag raha hai.

Geet gave box same box of diamond earrings.

Dadi: Ye aap ka hi hai hamare taraf se gift.

Maan saw her returning gift. He felt dejected cause he felt she is rejecting him

Geet: Gift dene ke liye function hona jaruri hota hai. Jab shadi hi nahi hui. To ye gift kyu lun? Dadi maa main apko hurt nahi karna chahti. Par ye boht mehenga hai. Tab rakh liya par ab nahi rakh sakti. I am sorry.

Maan dropped spoon from his hand in plate.

Anjali: Kya hua?

Maan: Am done.

Amar: Dekha ab aise gayab rahega. Kal subah se pehle darshan hone se rahe.

Maan went to outhouse to meet Brij.

Rano: Maan bete aao beta ji.

Maan: Aunty brij kaha hai?

Rano: Brij ghar par nahi hai kahi bahar gaya hai

Maan: Brij is avoiding me I know .

Maan left from there. He drove car with full speed came to isolated place. He sat there thinking about Geet.

To himself " Brij ko lagta hai ki main uski Gudiya ke layak nahi."

Maan's phone rang

Dadi: Beta aap kaha ho?

Maan: Dadi main aa raha hun.

As call cut his phone rang again. It was John

John: Maan How are you? How is your love? Now I am sure your love is with you thats why no sign of coming back.

Maan: No John. Its not like that.

John: Yet not confessed?

Maan told whole thing to John.

Maan: You know John I always think my life is perfect . I have got everything . But

John: I cant belive Brij is behaving like this. I thought he will be happy.

Maan: Will talk later have to go home.

John: Ok tc

Maan came back.

Anjali: Beta dad tumhe office bula rahe hai. Ek bar chale jao.

Maan: But Mom.

Anjali: Please

Maan: Ok mom.

Maan went to KC. As he entered all employees greeted him.He entered into Amar's cabin. Maan saw Brij but kept himself calm

Maan: Dad aapne bulaya?

Amar: Come beta. Maan you know what i want to know .

Maan: Dad main janta hun par

Amar: Par kya ? Main kuch nahi janta jab maine kc ki jimmedari li thi 22 sal ka tha. Aur main janta hun tum capable ho mujhse bhi jyada you can take Kc to new height . Brij bhi 3 months bad KC join kar raha hai as an architect. Tumhara friend bhi tumhare sath hoga.

Maan : Dad hum sham ko discuss kare.

Amar agreed. Both Maan and Brij left from there came at parking.

Maan: Brij tumne kuch nahi kaha.

Brij: Kis bare me.

Maan: About yesterday Geet and me.

Brij: Mere pas koi jawab nahi hai.

surprised that Maan confessed to Brij that he loves Geet! well was expected Brij was shocked! can understand Maan's restlessness!

Maan is happy seeing Geet at KM!! so Geet returned the gift!

Why is Brij avoiding Maan?

great that Maan's dad wants him to join KC!

glad that John called Maan!

at least Maan meets Brij at KC!

Maan finally confessed to brij about his feelings for geet.

But brij didn't reply.

Maan is confused n restless fearing his reply.

Amar wants maan to join his office.

Geet returned the gift to dadi. Maan was hurt with it.
