Ranveer who plays a hilarious character by the name of Jayeshbhai who goes on to comically win everybody’s love has already begun the diction workshop to slip into the Gujjubhai mode and helping him attain the gripping in the accent is the director Divyang Thakkar himself.

The pre-production of Jayeshbhai Jordaar is going on in full swing. The film will go on floors next month, in November, after Diwali. The film will mostly be shot in Gujarat while some portions will be filmed in Mumbai - Bollywood Hungama

Shalini is a promising talent and besides Arjun Reddy,she has proved her worth with other films down South too.Her chemistry with Ranveer Singh will be one of the highpoints of the film..Ranveer and Shalini both are undergoing workshops as part of the prep- Bollywood Hungama #JJ

Ranveer Singh plays a Gujarat-based man and is dedicatedly working on getting his act right, including the accent. Shalini too is involved with her character although it’s not clear as of now if she’s also playing a Gujarati - Bollywood Hungama #JayeshbhaiJordaar

Ranveer Singh has been one busy actor with multiple projects in his kitty. Be it '83 where he plays the iconic Kapil Dev or before that Murad in Gully Boy, or Simmba in Simmba, Ranveer has nailed each and every character like a pro. Now, he will be soon seen in a historical inspired character for Takht. While Takht begins next year, Ranveer will be completing another film in the between. According to sources, Ranveer begins shooting for Jayeshbhai Jordaar, a slice of life film, this month.

"Ranveer will begin shooting for Jayeshbhai Jordaar this month-end in a two-month schedule. Ranveer plays a Gujarati businessman in the movie and has already started prepping up for it. Post this, Ranveer will begin shooting for Takht for which he will be transforming his body yet again and hence, wants to wrap up JJ before that," a source reveals. Jayeshbhai Jordaar releases next year and will star Arjun Reddy-famed South actress Shalini Pandey as the female lead.

Ranveer has been pretty excited about the role. He had, in an earlier interview, said that he jumped onto it as soon as he heard about it.
