What a beautiful question you have asked but unfortunately, the answer can't be given in this forum because we can't look beyond our perspectives. No matter how bad or harsh it sounds, we continue to believe what we do, irrespective of what opinions others have so even if people tell you, what they saw in Bajaj that pulled them towards him - you wouldn't be able to understand and agree, because you do not see him in that light. The Basus and Sharmas are bad enough but they are at least a family.

I will spare Sharmas for now. Let's talk about Basus. So being a family gives the family right to do anything and the family members are supposed to tolerate and let go of every torture, be it physical or mental? Is that what you meant? I get the spirit of your message. I think this was the right time for someone to come into Ps life that wasn’t biased to the people around her and motivate her to be independent, and not nope around. Also, if B or someone like him ( who I assume has faced adversity, like a broken marriage/widowed) had been introduced NOW, it would have made more logical sense to see the dynamics of these people.

But in the true sense, P needs serious introspection. I don’t expect any Indian TV lead to act ‘realistically’ cuz that’s just not possible. But even if you compare P to the Nairas and the Preetas and Pragyas, she fails miserably and is so Insipid. I fail to understand why she wouldn’t just get a job or study, and try to focus on other aspects of her life, than just roaming around temples like a bhataki hui aatma.
