I actually like hanging as punishment for rapists.. seven year punishment is bogus.. Rapists deserve to be hanged.. there is repentance or redemption.. Thats why I liked ending of Khaani.. Feroz did not get his happy ending despite all his repentance

Sangat was idiotic.. Even more so because they made the husband seem wrong in all this when he was not.. He did not deserve to be lied to.. if his wife had told him the truth in the beginning or about Sangat and then he had reacted against her, I would have considered him wrong.. But she lied to him for a long time.. I can understand why but then I can understand his reaction at finding out the truth too.. Amidst all this, we see the woman actually forgiving her rapist.. that was another low point and then husband becoming egoistic and killing the rapist.. It was all too stupid..

no.. He murdered her brother but repented and realized his mistake.. Khani saves him from death penalty but does not forgive him and he spends rest of his life repenting and teaching people spirituality

I mentioned Khani because some crimes in my opinion are beyond forgiveness.. murders and rapes are such.. Yes.. It is up to Allah to forgive even the worst of crimes but such people do not deserve forgiveness on earth.. they should not get their happy ending at least in dramas
