Message from these soaps to the society?? - Page 3

Who even expects logic in Ekta Kapoor shows? 😆

Indian soaps are light entertainment. That's why they show so many dressed up occasions like weddings, religious festivals, parties, etc. People watch this magic for 30 minutes and then get back to their drudgery.

However, TV does send out subliminal messages that get ingrained into people's minds. Over time, people begin to accept these powerful messages as "normal". Television can normalize almost anything!

But speaking as a foreigner, the behavior of these characters is very very tame! There have been some religious marriages, 2 real marriages, one divorce, and one occasion when a committed couple had sex. Hardly excessive for a soap opera drama! What are you people complaining about?🤣

If anything can be learnt from this TV show, it is that young people should lead celibate lives and never have sex!!! 😔

I believe the viewers can figure out that this show is fiction!

The only message one gets from shows like this is that mediocrity is king on ITV.

The writers of this show seem to have a lot of contempt for the people who watch their show-it's like if you're stupid enough to be watching our show you deserve the trash we are serving you.

Prerna, the female lead gets divorced and is getting remarried and her family is completely missing😕... all the writers needed to do is write one line explaining their absence but they couldn't be bothered to do even that.

focus only one onething in ur life..love..nothing beyond it..no life..no other relation..take ur reading of fantasy books and romance novels to another level..

I was surfing through YouTube and found out many serials on ITV that were counted as legends( all ranging from 1983 to 1997) and most of them had strong headed realistic characters be it comedy, motivational, romantic drama or any other genre. I don't remember the name for each of them but as the story explained in a summary each of it felt really relatable even in today's world from bits to pieces. Some of them were long gearing while the others counted for short story based depiction finishing with 20-30 episodes.

What's the basic point of sharing this in here is 95% of ITV had worthy and realistic content until Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar ki, Kasauti Zindagi Kay, Kavyaanjali ruined audience's preference and buckled up for deteriorating content.

It's slightly unbelievable to compare today's content as that of previously and come to a conclusion for evolution.

One should praise Ekta for her skills anyway. Did anyone realised how well she managed to sell the same typical story of KZK and fit it into KZK2 in a random fashion calling it reboot? She makes a great saleswoman.

This isn't some epic love saga but cheating saga with illegitimate kids. And what are Anurag Prerna upto? Wanna start a cricket team of their own? Bache-bache khel rahe Hain Kya? Stop it man. There are many people who believe in infidelity with partner and there is a gradual increase with time. I might take it as dwelling light on EMA but contraception exists.

Let's aside that but no man/woman would want to taste same bitter water all over again. They swing from one man/woman to other like pendulum and then get back to the first eventually. How do they manage to get another non-biological father/mother everytime? Then gear up for their half sibling. Does it feels so easy on Prerna being pregnant for uncountable times? These people are responsible for over-populating country for the stupid inspiration they are spreading among youth.

As per many forum-mates, KZK is Ekta's real life story. Why don't she revenge the oh-so-sweet-Basu-boy of her life instead of avenging us? If Ekta is Prerna or Komolika here? Because her story doesn't match as that of Prerna and for Komolika may be she is too honest to portray herself as villain. When did Ekta got married or even had kids like in KZK1 or any news flashing across? My rational mind is compelled to believe it was a publicity stunt to sell this show more. I ain't sure about this but if anybody knows more about it please share.

A movie or serial shud give some msg.. it must not mislead the youth.. but here !!! Wow.... love someone...have physical relation..give "unbreakable promises "in front of god(tgereby moking god's power).... cheat them.. find another...marry...by the time get pregnant from first...take revenge on them.. by the time cheat the present "partner"... divorce... break the otger relation.... and the saga continues ....

Last yr a show in sonytv got banned by broadcasting ministry owing to offensive content of a 9 yr kid marrying 18 yr girl... then y these ekta soaps which only n only showcase extramarital affairs n illegitimate kids and multiple marriages cheating n divorces being glorified again n again???

Its higtime these craps got banned..... these stortlines shows the mentality of the creatives who just want to highlight that no one can be loyal in any relationship n all relations are meant to be broken always...there cant be any life long relations with anyone.... anyone,,,.. whtr its lover, husband, friends, children or whoever, they will make n break and again make relations.... dont believe in anyone.....

Ok... let this continue... ultimately.. trps n money matters....

On topic ..... this show also gave a message that when someone blackmails you and gets married you as a Woman have to nibhofy that marriage mutely killing your desires and forgetting how that leech took advantage of your misery.

movies and shows in India should not be taken Seriously Atleast knowing how misleading they are . You should be smart enough to see from which serial is message lene layak and which one to just laugh off n move on 😆
