As for Sri Devi and boney, it became more controversial because of the rakhi thing followed by out of wedlock pregnancy which was bound to create a huge controversy I those days.. the fact that Mona was friends with Sri and invited her home to stay and Sri had an affair with her husband right under her nose did not help

In case of Dharmendra and Hema, his wife never came to forefront, he did not abandon them and actually was more of an absentee member to Hema's family.. maybe that's why their EMA did not create a huge wave

Not boney kapoor..for that the pair need to be a hit onscreen pair..if instead of bony it was Anil and Sreedevi there would have been many supporters.

I was once a fan of iss pyar ko serial and i remember coming across many immature fans who wanted sanaya and barun to get together in real life because they felt they are made for each..baruns wife used to get a lot of hatred because they felt she came in between their dream couple.🤦🤦
