Maybe you've seen him more in romantic shows so you're feeling this way Pari. I haven't seen him earlier nor did I watch episodes this time so I can't really comment much about his versatility. But whatever I saw through clips I personally didn't like his chemistry with Eri and moreso I had problems in hearing him quite often. Otherwise he was ok in the Monday revelation episode.

@TM has asked a question and I’m assuming everyone has the right to express their opinions. And there is no need to mock other actors just to Defend your favourite.

KSG did a good job but I wouldn’t say no one else could have played it, KSG has his own shortcomings, but the writers have a major share in ruining Mr.Bajaj. They were utterly confused on what to be shown and the track ended up being a pain to watch. Despite the shitty writing, KSG did pull it off, so we must appreciate that. I haven’t watched any of his previous shows so not sure how great he is, but to what I’ve seen, except few stuff he did a good job.

I would have still loved Barun playing it, but considering the makers and their shitty writing, I’m glad he didn’t come 😆

Anyways hence i start with premise the others Leads/ actors all have space to improve.

Now that since post said about B character here are 2 cents addition to what you said.

*Actor tried to good job but i said in other reviews his diction and voice modulation entwined made by really difficult to appreciate the good dialogues given to him. I saw as the biggest impediment to appreciate Actor as Bajaj.

*Half of them Actor' act was appreciated because he was giving pithy statements and had good screen presence where acting for me was average even compared to his previous roles he did.

*The chemistry with FL/ Wife was average..And mind you it takes two to tango, am sure all blame is put in FL lead to save the actor' gap.

*I found another interesting argument saying how writers have screwed which is clearly reflecting in other leads dialogue more and less with character B. But is easy pass to cover actors' shortcomings. I feel B in previous season he was grey more or less but it is RR' acting which made it to large than life.

*Here i see whether for actor or even character B everyone wants to ride on success of previous season character and actor who portrayed it. Both as nostalgia and pasting here for season 2, where nothing of that sort even close to Season 1!

The B track was worse than Naveen Babu and Komo and mind you this was B' track..It was flop and shall lead to demise of show if not controlled now. Character and actor both are involved for this failure. If only some one is ready to accept alternate critique.

Bajaj is coming back whether people like it or not and IF it’s not KSG, people WILL find a problem with the new Bajaj too. You know why? Because Prerna will fall in love with him this time ;) So whichever actor plays him will be hated from a certain section.

The show has to survive this year first of course.

This is ridiculous..The topic is on acting not who took more gold awards..Surely KSG and Erica both did and other lead did not. Hence on that count you are right but sorry she is talking about acting and not maths of the awards.

And if you only you knew that awards are only ONE indicator for popularity or acting and NOT the only one. B character or actor playing it did average job..The track was flop show!

I agree with you Madhu Barun Sobti is really good in such roles. But even I think that whosoever enters this crapfest is bound to suffer bcoz of the poor writing. Eri being brilliant as Sonakshi has absolutely nothing for her here to perform. But as the thread is about KSG I'll stick to that. So even you had issues with his dialogues .... thank God I'm not the only one.

But really I'm amazed to see the responses here to a person expressing something against their favourite.

Why else would people prefer seeing Naveen or Komolika? Because they aren’t the ones the main leads would fall in love with. Bajaj though is a whole other matter! His comeback means no more one-sided love story...it means full-fledged this time round. 🤪

I saw that! 😆 The opening lines ' udte huye uncle,girte huye dupatte' still cracks me up. TBH, I have defended the leads acting several times myself. Yup, several times 😆 But to say Karan one of the most experienced in the lot was not dedicated and is not VERSATILE lol. To peddle it as 'honest critique'... okay! Sure! 🤣

I have said it before and I will repeat it again -KSG as Bajaj was a total mismatch with the show.....It's like putting a Ferrari in a showroom full of run down Ambassadors.

They need to get a really mediocre actor as the next Bajaj to fit in with the general vibe of the show.
