I dunno, a marwari colleague took leave for Karwachauth. Hence I thot maybe marwaris also follow this custom

The answer to that question is simple.

Ranveer is Sindhi, they don't celebrate karwachauth.

Deepika is a South Indian , they also do not have the custom of karwachauth.

As both of thier customs do not celebrate karwachauth, she didn't keep the fast.

Umm UPites have Teej in their traditions, Karwachauth has become popular since the last few years because of the popular culture.

Because all other couples are allowed to post about it and are allowed to be relationship goals while they know if they also post it they will be called attention seeking that’s why they choose not to post. But then again it’s the attention seeking couple so the didn’t post so people should wonder why. But their comments are in tact deepika answered ranveer and is still waiting for him to come back.

Unlike what everyone thinks, they don’t put everything online. They do a lot of PDA sure but their private moments, vacations and moments with family are something they never ever share. Including birthday, getaway, family get together. So in their case yes it applies.

I don’t even know when karva chauth is, I must be a horrible wife.

Not everyone in India celebrates karva chauth 😒
