They may just never heard of them ... 😆 .. I am just surprised how Korea was able to keep boy/girl bands alive for so long ... plus they are extremely popular throughout ... no wonder they are feel so obligated towards their fans .. since it's all them! .... Even western boy bands couldn't survive!
Lee Sooman is a shrewd businessman. He copied idol concept after seeing boygroups produced by Johnny & Associates starting to become successful. Then Lee Sooman started H.O. T which became super successful in South Korea. After that idols became a thing in Korea and soon other idol groups followed after that. I only like Red Velvet, SHINee and TVXQ from SM but I have to admit the guy is a genius( I like some extent Girls Generation too but absolutely detest their fandom). He knows really well how to market idols.

That's fascinating ... So Japan started the trend?! ... not sure about the history if Idols .. wonder if West copied them or vice versa with Backstreet boys and all! 🤔
Regardless thoroughly impressed how Korea has imbibed Idol culture in their society and world!

Japan started it first in Asia but West primarily started it.

It's going to be interesting to see how long idol group trend lasts in Korea. It's currently the third generation of Kpop idol groups now. Idol group trend is currently dying in Japan( Japan is also a big source of revenue for a lot of Korean idol groups). It's impressive how Kpop idol culture has spread so far despite language barriers.
My warning level raised. That's fast. 😆
😑😑😑 I actually messed up 😞, it was a pic of Juhi in this attire. More than the dress the hand gloves 😆.

Why did your warning level get raised? For spamming Deepika photos and videos?
