They're actually nuts. I'm starting to believe they'll bring him back at the same time as when or if they do bring back kiara.... after all, kiara's body was never shown... although neither was bulbul's yet they never brought her back. Maybe they officially killed off kiara and will never bring her back. I mean, it's not like ekta has never not killed lead's kids in the past. She's done it in kasauti zindagi ki, kasamh se, tujh sang prett lagayi sajna, although in most of those cases the lead's children were babies when killed off, but they can still do it with a grown child if they want.
Sometimes they don't show someone's body but still don't bring them back. I remember in Left Right Left they didn't show Rajveer's body yet didn't bring him back. Hmm..maybe. For spicing up the storyline she can do anything. Dunno if Sunny will ever make a comeback.

Care? Everyone's acting like he never existed. If it wasn't for that one time pragya asked disha how sunny was (albeit disha did not answer or react to being asked about him) the first time disha-pragya met after the leap, any viewer would think writers themselves decided to act like he never existed. Kiara at least gets mentions here and there by abhi and pragya, but sunny? WOW! But when his own parents are acting like he doesn't exist, what point is there in expecting anything from other characters.
