But I think baapji is over confident he feels that malhar is his blood and won't go against him aur will expose them ruining the respect of ranes family. He doesn't seem to care about the murder. He knows that someone is killed but there is not even a drop of guilt in his face. Ashahir are able to see through malhars charechter and he is honest and not like baapji though he is his son.so they really fear that there are chances of getting caught.hence desperate. Baapji thinks he can make everyone dance to his tunes. He won't worry even if Anu takes blame because he feels sarthak being lakshman will obey him and renounce Anu and his love. But ashahir knows that sarthak won't keep quiet of Anu goes in trouble.
