In the present time (where Hamza is Momin) his mom has passed on. There are stories that HusneJahan committed suicide and some believe she died naturally. The truth about her will be revealed at the end of the story.

And yes, no one in the industry connects Momin to HusneJahan , no one knows he is her son.

I think Momin's father is alive, but his mother is not, his mother passed away I feel and he never reveals about his mother's profession , Pehlaj is acting so cutely in the serial right now, he is doing complete justice to the role

I wonder what's the connection between Momina's father and husne jahan, other than that he was her makeup artist.

She died later as momin didn't want to see his mother as he came to know that she is an actress ( during childhood) he asked her to send him to his dada ( probably he asked her or she send him by her will cannot remember) and from there he started living with him. Later Abdul ala as in after few years ( dada of momin) married her to master ibrahim ( i didn't like the master ibrahim in the drama , there should be someone else instead of him as husn e jahan will be his wife).
