A few observations today, I would like to hear your views on this...

It is quite clear from the plot that Bajaj is Maloy's son from a previous relationship/marriage. He deserted that woman and married Mohini like a nice bigamist. Bajaj says he's familiar with the culture, calls him "not my Baba," shows a special hatred toward Mohini and Maloy, etc. Yet Maloy isn't too bothered when his kid burned today, after the initial shock he's gone to rest. He doesn't consider him a son and only has dialogues of how he can't be there for "Onu"/his son, but all he says is that he knows why Bajaj is doing it. In his quiet monologues, he could have at least shown some fondness for Bajaj while not giving away the plot, but nope.

Prerna is now going her Kakababu's way - emotionally cheating on her husband and praying to get her boyfriend like a bigamist too. All Bajaj asked was for loyalty and she's going around nuchi dancing and flowing tears on the ex in public. It is a gross mismanagement of morals in the name of drama. There are better ways of showing her conflict and loss than her total emotional and physical cheating now. Forget who she's married to, it is just not appropriate behavior living with the ex and being found in corners with him everywhere. No husband could tolerate that. But then, she's a Sharma afterall, who were not at all concerned that their sister's husband just caught on fire. The Shivani sali's comment really made her a sali, what a gross thing to say about someone catching on fire and almost losing their life. Oh, he's evil, so meh. Anurag had more compassion for Bajaj than her. Sharmas are so used to living on Anurag's charity that they would lick him clean. Remember, they don't know Bajaj planned it, so their compassion needed to be shown.

I can't believe Ekta's writers still haven't improved after all these years. Not only do they make a mockery out of Durga, religion, morals and ethics, but they can't even sustain good TRPs with these illogical and pathetic tactics. The most ethical character apparently was Mohini tonight cause she stopped Anu from walking in to a married couple's bedroom! Like seriously, what is wrong with Anurag? Peeking through the bedroom is one thing, but walking in! What was he going to do, go share the bed?

Please share your thoughts.

This Pyaar vs Shaadi conflict is futile. However, there have been past shows when people chose love over marriage. There are two huge ships here so there is a conflict. Coz, their marriage has no basis apart from a deal to hold them together. The way they are portraying is utter, utter shit. It makes her look senseless and someone who lacks conviction. Own up to something. Go tell A the truth. Tell B, Go ruin the Basus I am going back to Anurag. That makes sense. This toh is shit. Also, beta idk man. I don't want him to be the son. I doubt he is. He's probably related.

Regarding the Moloy-Rishabh father-son relationship, I too was sure that Bajaj is his son from a previous relationship/marriage. But the episode where Bajaj confesses to Anurag that indeed he wants to kill the latter and talks about his abusive father whom I guess he murdered by electrocuting has made me more confused. This is because if Moloy Basu is truly his father then who was Rishabh Bajaj talking about in that episode ??? Also, based on what we have been shown I can't really imagine Moloy Basu as the abusive,cold-hearted person.😒😭😭 Moloy Basu till now has always been shown as a nice, kind-hearted person who is ready to extend a helping hand to the needy.😳 So, right now I have my doubts whether Moloy Basu is actually his father or not even though as I said before, I was guessing it too earlier.

P.S : Did Bajaj lie in that episode ? God knows....

I thought it meant Maloy faked his death to leave Rishab's mom. But who knows.

Oh, btw I think he said he knew the Bengali custom coz eventually his ex wife would be shown as a Bengali only. Going by the names being retained alone.

Yeah, so that's an eventuality. They are retaining all the names so the possibility is open. Idk why but now I am swinging towards Surbhi Jyoti as Menka. Or maybe I ship them too much. 😆

After watching the episode I feel like that if now Bajaj do something extreme they deserve it he should bring hell. What Bajaj has done to Sharma just married their daughter and their daughter too married him being a son-in-law he deserve that they should stay and ask him is he okay or not. Especially Veena whom Bajaj saved from court case. Forget Son in law even any human deserve this much concern, they don't know Bajaj did it on himself. From the time Bajaj came he hasn't done that much evil not more than some ITV heroes i have seen doing but still in show people are he is evil, he is evil etc. Especially Shivani's attitude after seeing her attitude mann toh kiya ek rakh ke dun use I feel like iski toh band zaroor bajani chahiye. In today's itv this is what I don't like they glorify male lead so much that supporting characters behave like they are god. In YRKKH too when that Shivam character came people are treating him second class citizen and all are like Kartik ye Kartik woh I felt so bad for that Shivam guy. If people stop behaving this way and then Bajaj do evil things to them then I will feel okay Bajaj is bad but when someone's behaviour good to you and still you treat him/her like this then you deserve bad things happen to you. Bajaj Prerna nahi hai jo sabki gaali sune aur phir bhi unki pooja kare.

Sharmas are best ignored. ^ Bajaj need not waste his grey cells for them. They devise their own destruction with their Mission Basu Loyalty. 🤣

It would be the biggest clichéd if they showed Bajaj-Anurag as siblings, why not just show the Basu's to be responsible for what happened to Bajaj. And given Anurag's chacha-chachi came out of nowhere I have a feeling somehow they r tied to Bajaj's past but do they really have to ruin Moloy' s character in the name of "roller-coaster nail biting iconic drama" I think not!

I too have a feeling Anurag's chacha-chachi is somehow related to Bajaj's past . 2 points that I have thought over in details are :

1) Everyone including the Sharmas (except Rajesh Sharma who is dead now) and the Basus (except Mohini Basu and Anurag's chacha) know Moloy Basu post his marriage with Mohini Basu. Only Mohini Basu, Prosenjit Basu (Anurag's chacha) and Rajesh Sharma know the real Moloy Basu closely from before marriage. Since Rishabh Bajaj's enmity is probably with the Moloy Basu from before marriage with Mohini Basu, I feel it's only Prosenjit Basu and Mohini Basu who can really know some secrets. Another person who knew Moloy Basu closely from the past is his best friend Rajesh Sharma, since Moloy Basu had himself admitted that it was Rajesh who stayed with him "through thick and thin" while he was laying the foundations of Basu Publications. But alas, Rajesh Sharma is now dead. Had he been alive, perhaps he would have been able to shed some light on Moloy's past. Now 2 persons are left who can actually reveal some secrets about Moloy's past - his present wife and his brother. Based on what type of person Mohini Basu has been shown till date, I don't think she will open her mouth even if she knows something. Thus, Prosenjit Basu is only left who can actually help in understanding how Moloy Basu was in the past before his marriage to Mohini. So, I too agree the writers have purposefully brought in Anurag's chacha-chachi now, as they will have a central role in revealing the secret of Moloy Basu's past, specially Prosenjit.👍🏼

2) Also, I am very curious to know what actually caused the rift between Prosenjit Basu's family and Moloy Basu's family since it has been mentioned in the last 1-2 episodes that something had happened in the past which caused Moloy Basu's family to completely cut-off all relations with his brother's family. Mohini Basu has been shown to forgive them and say " We didn't like what you had done earlier and so didn't invite you to Anurag's wedding. But now Moloy needs now." Is the thing which happened in the past somehow related to Bajaj ??? 😳😳
