There was no place for Rohit's feelings & emotions here. It was all her mahaanta & so called sacrifice. So if Raima is ok with this then Rohit has to swallow his feelings & agree like a sacrificial lamb?

Ok we all know that Ronakshi is the end game but if Rohit has done something like this we would have blasted him.

Why do I feel like somehow this all is such an absurd prank? If not, she is so in the wrong to decide for Rohit. And Rohit ko kya hua? He literally became a herione in her serial

Rohit has integrated Sona with his life so much that he often remembers TV serials & how his life resembles one. 'I'm like a TV serial heroine who cries at the drop of the hat' 🤣

She forgets the difference between offscreen and onscreen.

Why cant writers keep it real man. They claim the show is real then ruin everything. Itna hi mahaan banna tha toh Rohit, Rohit karke peeche kyu ghumi.

0 self respect she has. Uss din Rohit yelled the house down at her, and she said sorry to him. Now Raima is showing chaaku so she is leaving.

I hate it when they show female leads as being so selfless. OTT drama.

Just stop this dumbness, writers. Stop ruining your leads.

They are letting us know it's not going to be any different. So keep your expectations low. Reel parvati becomes real parvati in an instant.

And all tellywood couples need pre marital counselling and classes about how to handle relationships. 🤣

He has become very dramatic since sona entered his life. Why else would he scream that her loved her in the hospital?😉

How did this becomes Sona’s UNILATERAL decision?

Rohit unilaterally told Sona btw I didn’t support you in front of my family and told you to leave because my first priority is Raima. Those were his words exactly that she just repeated.

His UNILATERAL decision was also to not tell Raima that he didn’t love her when she said I love you, but rather to agree with her.

He UNILATERAL decision was also to tell Sona I won’t going anywhere with you in front of Raima because she is my first priority - basically can you be my hidden secret.

And what sona still doesn’t know is that he UNILATERALLY decided to tell his family that his real relationship with her was fake, thereby maligning her in front of everyone especially his dad and grandmom.

When all of this was happening so many people were saying doesn’t Sona have any dignity, she needs to leaves, to take a step back, let Rohit sort himself out and then come to her. Why is she clinging in etc etc.

Now when she takes a dignified step back and decides to let Rohit and Raima sort their relationship out so that when Rohit comes to her, if he ever does, it won’t be hidden and messy..... she is disgusting?

Rohit wants his cake and to eat it as well, even if it means dragging Sona through the mess and she would have been bashed if she had remained. And now she is being bashed to stepping back in such a dignified way. This is why females leads are written so often badly, because everyone expects everything from them.

Never watched the movie, but heard references in dramas where the mother is all sacrificing. Her husband seems to be overtly sweet to hide something , like a guilty conscience.

Most wives on tv don't stand against husband when father and son are fighting. I wish we had a different treatment to the relationship here.

Suman is a balanced character, both good and bad. As a mother she might have brought up all kids , but the way she differentiates sona and pari is quiet evident. You forget that the main difference between them is suman is an opportunist, while veena probably keeps quiet to maintain peace in family.

What I like about their characterisation of Suman is that she is shown to be grey - like most of us are in real life. She is mercenary because unlike Veena her life hasn’t been easy and she hasn’t lived in the lap of luxury always. She does take advantage of Sona because she got used to it and Sona was her only source of survival in this tough world. But ultimately she is shown to love and understand Sona and able to put aside her limitations to be a good mom to Sona. Even when she said those words about the Sippy being lucky to get Sona, they were in retaliation to YKs mom talking down about Sona. I have really warmed to Suman.

Veena in many ways is also a “real” character. The one who’s survival depends on keeping the family peace - making everyone happy, letting everyone have their way. She is the reason why Rohit is such a spoilt brat. How much he screams at everyone in the family - constantly - about the messes that he has created in his own life and she and the rest of the family just let him. None has given him a tight rap and said calm down and behave like a 32 year old.

I agree. And Veena hasn't had the need to fight for herself or her family, she's had to balance everything out coz everything was available in excess. And managing a huge family with contrasting views would make a person more moderating than belligerent. That said Suman is awesome too. Two women who have led different lives.
