See for the waise curve to be visible properly, heroines wear saree lower than usual...if they wear it at normal level waist curve wont be prominent.😆

Regarding the dance part if material is heavy they pleat it then get the inner pleats chopped off so that dancing is easier #jugaad .... or they use readymade and pleated sarees or half sarees.
