The things Ekta Maiyya tried...to get us to hate Rishabh Bajaj!!! But it just didnt work 😆

I will paste some vid links today from Hotstar - one of my favorite ones -

1. RB returning the Basu Publication Company/Project Papers to Prerna following her confrontation on the pretext of Anurag-Aparna marriage. The exact dialog was 'Yeh wahi Rishabh Bajaj hai, jisse tum jaanti ho' when he was heartbroken with her words during confrontation.

2. The scene where Prerna finds out RB followed her to Kolkata. RB tells Prerna how he has changed his wajood for her.

3. RB buying the plot of Prem1's samadhi to gift Prerna. Prerna cant find words to return this gesture to RB.

RB1.0 became this larger than life character OVER THE PERIOD of redemption. Yes he did some extremely dark stuffs, but when he turned good, the length he went to redeem himself, I dont think we have any other character from Indian Television who could come close to RB's redemption arc. KZK writers tried the same for Prem2.0, but it didn't work as much as it did for RB. It was almost RB re-incarnated.

Honestly, I was so pissed off with Prerna in this entire post-Panchemeswar track that I wanted to literally scream at her for cringing at his hug. 🤔 RB poured his heart out to her, but she was so oblivious to his pain. Doing projects with Anurag, having Rasgullas, taking care of him like a wife, Prerna was behaving like Anurag's wife in the entire track and I felt bad for both Aparna and RB. She needed a reality check on her relationship with RB which is why that separation track was like Lord's mercy to me.

3. RB buying the plot of Prem1's samadhi to gift Prerna. Prerna cant find words to return this gesture to RB.

Starting from 16:54. Actually this episode has 60% of PRB scenes. A must watch one.

Starting scene : Yeh maanti hoon ke mere mann mein Anurag ke naam ka diya jal raha hai, lekin aap, aap usko roshni ke daire mein aate hai. From 16:54 scene : Main aapka shukriya adaa nahi karna chahti, main apne dil se yeh ehsaas nahi nikaalna chahti ke aapne mere liye itna kuch kiya.

I also hated P during this track. Seriously, bahut ho gya tha. And how sweet of Madhavi!! She remembering RB's birthday shows how much he meant for her and P's not remembering shows he meant really not much to her. I sooo wanted RB to move on. Because a woman has been a good mother to your kids does not mean she is the one for you. But RB was so desperate for her.

I understand you can't just unlove somebody with your wish and moving on happens naturally, it takes its own time but how can you lie to the man who has been your biggest support through thick and thin and never even tried to touch you despite being madly in love. I always felt that RB was not just in love but he was devoted to P. Devotion is the highest form of love and this is the reward you are giving this man for his devotion.

I am not justifying P's actions or the fact that she was right to lie about AB, but just few points in her defense, rather her point of view,

1a. every single time she went to meet AB to plot against Aparna, she never lingered around a minute more with him beyond those discussions. Even AB is shown disappointed for this bcoz he expected her to spend time with him.

1b. She was always shown to be looking at her watch, she says also it's quite late now RB will be waiting, I should get going, Sneha will be back, etc etc. In fact, one time Sneha and AB both tell her to stay for a while and yet she convinces Sneha to leave.

2. She never ignored RB in any way except forgetting his bday. She always picked up his calls even when she was with AB.

3. She keeps talking about RB to AB, very much a symbolism that her heart was with RB...this was the show pointing out how fr she had come and now RB was in AB's shoes, like when she was in love with AB initially, she would meet RB for something or the other but her heart was always beating for AB. It was the reverse case now.

3. Her dream about RB's reaction and losing him also shows why she didn't dare to tell him the truth. She is consciously shown pondering over her reluctance to hide the truth. She didn't want to lose him, and she didn't want AB beyond a friend. She was very clear in her emotions by then.

4. She is shown to actually leave Bby and go to Panchmeshwar without either of the guys. This was a very strong point justifying her love for RB and the fact that come what may, she didn't want to return to AB ever.

I love how she took it from there.

From 18:33 - This is after 8 yr leap when Prerna tries to stop Anurag from attending Prem's janamtithi puja but Anurag does it anyways. In the end, it's on Anurag and his pain. Please ignore his hideous clothes and hairstyle😳, but this is my personal 1 of my favs. He lost his son which itself is a pain impossible to recover in a lifetime, then lost Prerna with the thought of her cheating on him, was stuck in a lifeless dutiful marriage and being an introvert, had literally no one to share his day to day grief except the monologues or solo scenes. The dusky effect, the background monotone music and for a change CK was really good in these scenes, his eyes. ❤️ My all time fav despite being a hardcore PRB fan.

Sorry saps, though I never thought on these lines but I'm not convinced except your point 4.
