I agree. That's why bajaj said you want to prove I'm a villain in your love story. This was pointed out to a specific audience and fan section. Which clearly he isn't. The day prerna made the choice to marry bajaj she became his wife and his responsibility. However those was snatched by basu while bajaj couldn't do anything much because of prerna. He could only use basu own plans against him. Bajaj is doing this to fight for his family. Hence him using the word family.
