War Heading for Huge Monday

War has held extremely well on Monday and its collections can go to 20 crore nett and even match the collections on Friday. Some circuits are showing better collections than Friday as they get the benefit of Mahanavami which is a holiday in some parts of the country. East India continues with super strong collections due to durga puja.

The Monday numbers will be one of the highest of all time as very few films have got over the 20 crore nett mark on Monday and this film is doing it with Monday being the sixth day rather than the normal fourth day. Even allowing for the fact that its is a minor holiday the hold on monday does look very good though it will be post Dusshera that will really tell how well the film it can do in the long run.

The film now has a chance to cover around 200 crore nett in its first week as its is a holiday on Tuesday for Dusshera. It may not be hueg growth on Tuesday as some of the holiday is probably factored into Monday numbers but it the numbers should be good enough for the film to cross the 200 crore nett mark.

The hype for WAR is real. I've never seen this kind of occupancy in a MONDAY MORNING show for a movie, specially in a non-Hindi speaking state.

They were witty to use Hell, 80085 and other such small cheeky stuff and I had hoped the movie would continue that tone than take the emotional one with the kid or vaani. Humour goes well with the kind of equation this guru-shishya shared.

*Spoilers*

That fight scene in Syria where both look at each other after getting beaten up by the guy like "now it's your turn" with their eyes doing the talking was HILARIOUS 😆

HR-Tiger have some cackling chemistry alright. This bromance deserves a sequel. And bring Khalid back.

The initial scenes of HR giving Tiger smug and sarcastic looks and Tiger recoiling/uncomfortable under that gaze was LMAO 😆

Tiger was really good in the negative role. He actually acted lol

HR is HR. The COLLECTIVE Sigh from men and women in the theatre whenever he is onscreen SPECIALLY during his entry and last surfing scene. And no vein popping!!! Yayyy! A restrained performance... that look he gives Khalid's mom shows his maturity as actor now. He was so self-assured and so restrained! This is the HR I wanna see in all his future projects... completely in control of himself and his art. It's been AGES since I crushed on him like this... last was Jodha Akbar... He did a good job in Super 30 but War legit brought out the Post KNPH era school fangirl in me! And it's good to feel that phase again!

And HR please do more movies and keep acting like this! Keep the hamming and tanning away( though his tan in War >>>>>> znmd n co) You are a good actor... stick to this HR 2.0 please!

P.S: Good to see Aushtosh Rana n HR together in a movie. Anupriya Goenka was good. Sid Anand is still a mediocre director. Just making the whole thing 15% more crisp would've made a world of difference.

Kabir Singh did not collect 300 crores, it collected just under 280cr, just about 278cr.

Sanju is well above 300.... maybe 324? I doubt War can beat that

Decent movie. Wish it was directed by a capable director. Could've been lot better in many ways.

Finally watched the movie today. Enjoyed it. Vani was good in her role, but anupriya goenaka had more meat in her role. Vani was more like a cameo, but she was good.
