I have finally watched the movie.. And I must admit it that I have enjoyed it totally, full on paisa vasool.🥳. there was never any dull moment, surprisingly Sid Anand actually has improved in his craft.

My review. [CONTAINS SPOILERS]

This is how a potboiler, masala entertainer should be like, full on action, good looks and yeah some more of those good looks of the lead characters. For one thing the team deserves an applause is that very few songs and thankfully no mindless item songs to elevate the hype. The run time was properly edited.

I liked the pace of the movie, there was never a dull moment, and the action sequences looked great especially because both Hrithik and Tiger are just so flexible and heroic when it comes to such life risking action sequences, they lived their roles and their chemistry was just superb.

Kabir's entry scene from the helicopter requires a special para.. Those biceps, that sexy walk and colonel and khalid drooling at him removing his shades, truly a sequence to remember.☺️.At one point it seemed like Khalid was not trying to prove his love for country but only his love for Kabir, everytime he would face Kabir, he would be awestruck and in loss of words.🤪. Also colonel's reply to khalid that "You love him" when khalid wanted to chase kabir, was just a replica of how I was thinking too.🤣. The whole universe plotted to unite khalid and kabir and no wonder khalid even sacrificed himself in that process.

Hrithik was tailor made to be kabir onscreen .. Hrithik looked like a demi god, and this man did not even go topless and still had my fangirl heart cry in delight, like how unreally good was he looking? Sid Anand definitely has some fan boyish feelings for Duggu otherwise how is it possible that after 19 years and 10 months Hrithik looked the best in his entire career.. God damn, the swag and arrogance of kabir carried with an aura of leadership and sexiness was superb..

I need to watch the movie again and again just to look at him. In some parts it seemed like he was teasing his fans that "Ao dekho mujhe, lekin body nahi dikhaunga''.🥺. Like why did only tiger become topless? Hum ne kya galti ki thi ki Hrithik was fully clothed in every scene ?

Khair chodo.. Coming to the story, i expected it to be average as i read some of the reviews, but i liked the story, it was not bad at all, even though it did has its share of inspiration from MI movies. I liked how Khalid was awarded at the end and how Kabir indeed decides to stay behind all the success and praise so that khalid can get his tribute. Also, loved the fact that Kabir becomes a guardian for Ruhi and Naina's importance in his life will remain forever even though initially he never loved her, she gave him a reason to come back home after every mission. Overall, the story was not great but good, good enough to engage the audience.

The songs were fine, did not care much about them because too less of Hrithik on the dance floor.

The performances of all the actors were excellent. Hrithik definitely steals the show, he is born for such characters, the charisma he has as kabir is unmatched. He makes no mistakes at all, probably one of his career's best performances was delivered in War. He should do some more movies in this genre, as fans we deserve to watch some more of Kabir onscreen. Tiger was good too, i am watching him for the first time, never watched his movies, but well he did a fine job and as i said earlier, he has a wonderful chemistry with Hrithik. Vaani's role was very short but still she did well, and again the small Kabir-Naina part was so much impactful that I wished they would have 10 more minutes onscreen.

Overall, an excellent come back by YRF after the debacle of Thugs, By Sid Anand after Bang bang and it is a family movie, it definitely has repeat value. Girls will watch this movie more than once for Hrithik, Boys will also watch this movie more than once for Hrithik-Tiger and their bromance, win-win situation for the makers.

War Records Highest Sunday Of 2019

War had excellent collections on Sunday as it recorded the highest Sunday of the year beating the near 30 crore nett of Saaho (hindi). War will collect around 35.5-36 crore nett on Sunday which is growth of over 30% from Saturday. There has been 50% growth in mass circuits like CP Berar and CI.

The film has done very well to get over the 35 crore nett mark considering the collections on Friday were in the 21 crore nett range. The extended day weekend of the film will be 158 crore nett apprx. Bharat was the other big release to have a five day weekend and that film collected 140 crore nett over five days. So it has a 18 crore nett lead over that film in the first five days.

The film now can take the advantage of Dusshera on Monday evening and Tuesday and by that time it should be the highest NETT grosser of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The ticket rates will go down to normal rates of Monday but it will be back to weekend rates on Tuesday for the Dusshera holiday.

The first week which will end on Tuesday will be a huge one and will be among the top ten of all time but it is an holiday week and it will be Wednesday which will probably tell at which level this film goes forward. The extended holiday weekend has ensured the film is a HIT and it has crossed the likes of Kesari , Total Dhamaal, Saaho and Super 30 in just five days.

^ Omg it actually collected more than 35 crores yesterday? 😱😍 YAAAAY! Today is still kinda sorta festive (evening shows should do really well) with the holiday on Tuesday toh the real test will be on Wednesday. If it collects more than 10 crores on that day and remains steady, 300 crores is certain 🥳Then TSIP is coming on the 14th. (Why is Farhan being such a nuisance to his amigo nowadays? )
