All Colours Of The World

Strange is this world inside me

when leaves turn it green

or it gets blond like silk

from children’s hair and birds’ wings.

Strange is this world inside me

when everything turns yellow and becomes rosy.

Beside me, many colours live.

Beside me, the world even turns gray sometimes,

or it gets dark and gloomy.

It’s good because there are also

these nicer colours of mine.

As well as some smiles, sunny and shy.

And the wind as inaudible as breath.

So that, when everything numbs,

and when everything withers,

when the world around me looks somber,

a thousand fireworks of some more colourful

and more beautiful world live inside of me.

I sometimes wish to share

my rosiness with the entire city,

and my white with the yellow grass,

and my yellow with the blue night,

and my blue with the dreamy river…

The only thing I keep is the green

for some eyes that aren’t mine,

but all other eyes and other colours
