Given how the promotions campaign went on, I am sure those ego blinds were shared by YRF for bu zz.

Tiger just loves Hrithik, would have been better if movie didn't had Vaani and Tiger was Hrithik's gay lover. Usko sach mai HR se pyaar hai😆

War had a good hold on Friday as it dropped 7% from the day before to collect 21 crore nett. The East saw the first day of Durga Puja and the film hardly dropped in West Bengal and other parts of Eastern India. The film also held up better in Mumbai circuit as Delhi / UP dropped more while it was the opposite on Thursday. The former is affected by Navratri in Gujarat.

The three figures of War are 95 crore nett which is very good considering it was just the big holiday on day one and it was followed by two working days. The next two days are important as it should get the momentum upwards again especially at the multiplexes on Saturday and mass centres will score on Sunday as it is an action film. The film is easily the highest ever weekend for a Hrithik Roshan or Tiger Shroff starrer. The apprx collections of the War are as follows.

Wednesday - 51,50,00,000 aprrx

Thursday - 22,50,00,000 apprx

Friday - 21,00,00,000 apprx

TOTAL - 95,00,00,000 apprx

War (hindi) recorded the 11th highest first weekend of all time and the highest weekend of 2019 as it beat the numbers of Bharat. Bharat had done business of 90.47 crore nett in three days while War has has done 95 crore nett. Both were holiday weekends though Bharat as on eid which had an extended holiday period. The next best film Saaho (hindi) did 80.75 crore nett on a non holiday and a limited South release which now looks an extraordinary number as War and Bharat are genuinely big films for the hindi market with starpower.

The previous best for Hrithik Roshan was 62.65 crore nett with Bang Bang while it was 72.48 crore nett for Tiger Shroff with Baaghi 2. The 100 crore nett mark is yet to be achieved and it looks like only Dabangg 3 will have a chance to get there as Housefull 4 which is the other big film left for 2019 is a pre diwali release where business is low. In history seven films have crossed the 100 crore nett mark in three days. The top twenty opening weekends of all time are as follows.

Someone commented that maybe Vaani was put in the film just to show they are both Straight 😆

I have never seen such sizzling chemistry between two Male stars before!

Hrithik genuinely cares for his boy Tiger eh. He always makes it a point to elevate him even in posts not @ ing him. Really need an encore from these two.
