Yea it was a hit, it was called Madhuri's hit and she got all the credit.. The songs were popular. . 😆 in fact Madhuri was given the credit for Beta's success too which was his brother's film 😆

As for Sanjay Kapoor, I have seen him in tum bin, chupa rustam, koi mere dil se puche, Shakti, jaago, kayamat, darna mana hai, and dil sambhal ja zara tv show. He is not a bad actor. But definitely not deserving this accolade at all
