All my dogs are rescues. My oldest is a rescued Kombai and literally the love of the life. He's the reason the others are here. Then a golden retriever and domermann. And the youngest has joined us just a few months ago. Retriever puppy 🐕 Apparently he is a lil brother of my first one so I didn't waste any time contacting the rescue center.

It is wonderful to travel with pets. My doggos are very well trained except the lil one. They are very calm and non agitated dogs. You have to train big dogs well before you even plan an Indian trip. Usually people travel with small dogs more for this reason.

The greatest challenge is the pre trip documentation. Microchips, vaccinations, pet passports if you stay for some time. I get anxious about that. So I check 50 times not even kidding. Accommodation and travelling with them is no problem. Highly rated hotels have pet accommodation and I hire a car to solve the transport problem. Just documentation, quarantine and vaccinations are a major issue. Some countries hate people who travel with pets and they will make it so difficult for you. *Cough* Thailand,Malaysia Singapore* cough*

And I would like to believe they do understand they are on vacation 😆 My domermann is not allowed in all countries so he has to stay back sometimes and they miss him :(

you sound so comfortable with them....i have always been little nervous around canines... i dont like getting licked... but i love female strays... i feel angry when male stray snatch their food lol.

I am feeding a female stray dog and it's very well behaved. She is very thin and her food is snatched by a huge male dog. She gave birth to puppies somewhere. I do feed her when I see her. Such a lovely dog.
