There are no rumors of her being pregnant anywhere. Though in the recent PFW pics she looked one.

So two possibilities in my opinion.

One that Deepika backed out after the backlash and Ranbir and Ranjan don’t want to do this without Deepika and all the RKDP hype it would have brought on.

Other possibility is that Ranbir has decided to prioritize Vanga’s movie over this (assuming those rumors are true) and taking all his dates from Runjan and giving it to Vanga. So with Deepika backing out and Ranbir prioritizing another film, Ranjan and Ajay are probably moving on to other things.

Devil's producer said Ranbir is not finalized yet. That vanga guy is still writing the script....
