I personally think the story is going to be unexpected, we are made to think that they gave away the plot. Like in Ek Villain, they didn’t reveal Shradhha dies and in this they revealed Tara dies. I think it’ll be something different because they can’t be that dumb to kill the suspense so early. Songs and story can make this movie a hit and I think it will be a surprise package.

Rakul probably has a special appearance like Kiara in Kalank.

Well from the trailer, it seems like Zoya (Tara Sutaria) is a mute girl and they have this cute relationship with gestures. Got married and all. For some reason, he has to kill her. Going by the dialogue "main badla nahin lunga Zoya, main INTEKAAM lunga", seems like she already died and he is out to get the Ravaan (Ritesh). Background music is also copied from the Tamil movie Vishwasam with Ajith.

For Ek Villian, I already knew Shraddha would die because EV was based on the Korean film I Saw The Devil. It worked at that time because Shraddha was on a high, great soundtrack, and Sid and Shraddha's chemistry worked. But in 2019, this type of film is not appealing.

jr.ntr is both salman n srk..heroism and grt acting..i got chance to meet him when i was kid..even he was so young..he smiled at me and greeted me..never forgot it

Hmm even I feel it will not work if the story is as basic as shown in the trailer. But some so called “sources” on twitter are saying stuff like Rakul has a good part, Tara’s death is the biggest suspense of the movie. And I also don’t think makers would be naive enough to give away the death part in the trailer.

For me ek villain worked because of the songs and the story which not everyone was familiar with and that movie would still work today believe it or not. Masala movies still work in India and I don’t mind it if it has good content. So I am kind of not judging the book by its cover here.

Sid seriously action mai.bhi flop hai.

This swag in action isn't BW thing, seriously OTT actions and stylishly choreographed fights is something better left with the South stars.

trailer mai itna kuch khas toh nahi hai, looks like a generic South Indian movie copy.
