Roll the drums for the New Komolika because Ekta Kapoor has finalized the actress for the character in the popular STAR Plus show, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. After Ekta dropped a hint on Twitter, last evening, about a "new Komo" and Hina Khan confirmed her exit by sending her best wishes to the TV czarina, we called Ekta to know a bit more about the development.
Ekta, for the first time, spoke on the new Komolika and also Hina's exit from the show. She confirmed to us that the new Komolika has been selected. Not just this, Ekta also dropped a hint about who the actress is. She said, "Yes, we have selected new Komolika and she is someone popular and has played a lead role in one of my shows."
Ekta also spoke about Hina Khan's exit from the show and told us, "Hina Khan is busy with her life and she is doing a couple of other things too, so we couldn't adjust her dates. It was an amicable decision. Hina is a thorough professional. We will definitely collaborate with her on some other projects- be it TV or digital or a film. She has been a revelation and this is not the end of our association."
