No they didnt..Anurag was ruined long ago when he did jungle mein mangal with prerna, dumped and humiliated her. And That was way before Bajju entry.

Why would someone’s character be BUTCHERED?

Characters are characters and they have an arc, good, bad, grey, faulty etc doesn’t matter. BUTCHERING seems like writers have killed the character. A character BUILD up is a right word. Why do we think Anurag has been BUTCHERED? He has a journey and that’s a part of his story and character evolvement.

I see this thing in Hindi TV show watchers only. We use the word BUTCHERING too often. What does that even mean?

I love Anurag and his journey. That makes him HUMAN to me. There comes a point in the life of even the most self-righteous person when he succumbs to weaknesses. Why can't we handle and accept that? Today, Parth was phenomenal in his scenes with Anupam. The desperation and Vulnerability were so well portrayed.

They say a man seeking revenge is the most vacant one! That happens with most of us who pursue wronging the one who has WRONGED us.

There's so much more to Anurag than being this WHITE doe-eyed boy. At least, now he is not Unidimensional to me.

My interest is piqued now. What makes a man so righteous to take a wrong path?

The Difference between You Need Me Vs I need you

I was watching the previous episodes and I did come across 'YOU NEED ME' dialogue in the first meeting of Rishabh and Prerna. Though it was completely said in a different context but it somehow connects today.

That’s how Prerna and Rishabh’s relationship has been. And today it was contrasted with I NEED YOU so very well from Anurag

Needing someone for yourself and submitting yourself for someone’s NEEDS, that’s a common thread between Rishabh and a Prerna. The difference being their Modus operandi.

One sacrifice, another save.

Well, I know for argument's sake, Rishabh has WRONGED Prerna but that doesn't change their need equation. He Literally was an OUTSIDER in the story, he planted himself by DESIGNING this marriage.

But, who accounts for things which are not a part of the DESIGN? Liking Prerna and being drawn towards someone who is juxtaposed as a HUMAN being

Fact is, TRP this season as a whole is terribly low and Bajaj has nothing to do with it. With the latest screen and character development, it will be confirmed further who is still not accepted. Writing random statements as facts dont help the reality.

If Anurag is good that is his nature. If Anurag does something wrong, CVs are butchering him

If RB does wrong, that is his nature. If RB does something right, CVs are whitewashing him

But , this is not a flaw. I don't see it as a flaw because he wantedly did this , without any guilt. The previous times he did wrong, it pricked him.

And that's the essence of his character, he was shown to be guilty of komo's death , eventhough it wasn't his fault and she tortured him enough .

He is crossing limits in the name of love . It's very clear..just to prove that pre cares for him..anyways he didn't plan near death experience..he only wanted to show bajaj wants to hurt him . When bajaj knew everything about his plan why did he go an hit anurag with his car ? Now this will be excused because prerna ka judgement hai....one thing is clear that if accident was slightly worse anurag could have died on the spot and whether anurag planned it or no, prerna would have never forgiven him , nor the law..

Here also he may show the guilt after he knows the truth about prerna sacrifice . How can we call this criminal intimidation i don't understand.
