It’s interesting to see Bajaj amidst this retrospective madness. He is mostly passive in the Switzerland and wedding episodes.
But I just saw some strange things:
1. He made sure all the Rituals were properly done, right from the clothes to to her jewellery. Why would he do so? Her colour too was taken into consideration.
2. He makes sure everything is NORMAL between them. Whatever he does, he INFORMS. I love the fact that their RELATIONSHIP is NOT MELODRAMATIC, that’s why it’s a SLOW BURN
1) Omg I will never get over the wedding prep scenes - how he says 'red is her favourite colour so please ensure there is red', the eye to details to please her even if she hates the very idea of it. It was so so well done. It established that he'd studied her well, but that in the end he wanted to at least make her a little more comforted by giving her control over what she could pick and choose.
2) This is such an important nuance. He is an incredibly effective communicator. On so many occasions he says - it may not be necessary but I'm going out for xyz, I'm doing xyz, he always always tells her what he's up to and where he is going. He knows that she may not care, but it's his duty to inform regardless.
