Because the steps that were given to him were making him look like he was trying too hard while the steps that were given to HR were making him look like he was confident, effortless and fluid!

This is a great theory. But it would require amazing commitment to character acting by Tiger and filmmaking by Siddharth Anand. Dare I dream it’s true?😆

There's a difference between literally calling you an idiot and saying "like an idiot".

You have no right to use that word on a regulated public forum. Everyone is free to come here and say whatever they want, that doesn’t mean you can say anything. I didn’t use any derogatory language or make any mocking abusive terms.

Don’t push me around. You can disagree tastefully and worship Vaani’s dancing all you want.

I’m in a good mood cuz of this song don’t spoil it with such terms and name calling

Tiger shouldn't have agreed to do this movie.....I mean Looks wise....look at Hritik and then at Tiger....OMG....Hritik would make even the most good looking men ugly if the stood next to him and this is Tiger😆....then come to acting...Hritik is one of the best when it comes to acting...and Tiger is...no need to say...lol....and dancing...we see in this little clip...that Hritik did not have to jump around like a monkey..he is a natural...and action..well Tiger is good in them but still Hritik will be better in that too...So Tiger..bachhe wrong move....doing a movie with baap....😎

Look, I love Hrithik. When I watch Tiger dance, i get headache. When I watch Hrithik dance, I feel all my worries go away.

Having said that, i don't think Tiger has any reason to worry. For him, he is living his dream sharing screen with his childhood idol n you can see it in his eyes.

They belong to different generations and not really competing as such. In his generation, Tiger is pretty much secure as none of the young guys r into action. Except maybe Vidyut.

Tiger is doing well, living his dream to work with someone who inspires him. He does have a lot of physical strength but technics does not always translate into fabulous dancing.

HR is on another level and none of the steps are "simple" the only simpletons are those who watch and critique, he is a natural born dancer, he allows the rhythm to flow and he moves with the notes. I have watched at every single speed, to look at the technique and saw other mistakes but not on HR, not in his steps, his form nor his expressions. The choreographers did a good job, but it is possible to do because of him, from the second he enters the scene, he draws your attention and then everyone else becomes peripheral movement, while he becomes the eye of the storm.

I challenge everyone - get up and try to do what Hrithik did with his feet in his entry. This is a high level of difficulty. We shouldn’t discount the difficulty just because of the ease the actors have displayed.

Even the hook step - no one else in Bollywood can pull it off like these two did. Don’t take the choreography so easily.

Even in the club part - when hrithik slides back with his feet - can’t even begin to tell you how hard that is

Also the face-off is in the club sequence which wasn’t fully shown. They are def keeping some things for the big screen

After reading this I actually went to watch the video again thinking I missed these intricate dance steps. Every step you have mentioned may be difficult for a Non-dancer but not for dancers, these are very easy steps.

We can say that HR does every step with inherent fluidity and his body movements are fantastic, that's why my expectations were high. HR - Tiger dance wasn't synchronous, Tiger was way too fast.

When a song has HR and Tiger at least I expected stellar dance performance, like Nora Fatehi tried in Saki Saki, you can watch and say that the Hook step is difficult and she is a pure dancer. We wouldn't be speaking about dance steps or dance performance, if it was someone else, I think everyone expected brilliance out of these two in one frame. Anyway, to each his own

I don't know if I will be able to explain this but I felt like the dance was a lot more western-styled than it was required. I felt more Indian steps would have been more enjoyable with the song. Is it the audience who likes more western-styled choreographies now or is it the choreographers who likes it.
