Aamir knows it best. 😂 He did a lot of promoting and lobbying as he was one of the producers of Lagaan. In an interview he said he showed the movie to everyone even the hotel staff... Hope Excel and Tiger Baby goes all out lobbying.

Its not abt believing that he is going. Nd I was just wondering what he would wear if he does end up going. It is related, especially with RS.

I was actually appreciating the fact that someone gave a different perspective of this which I didn’t think of.

The difference is to have vision.

There is a guy who is a Mathematician, Physicist , Scientist and an equally exceptional Chef ( has written 6 books on just bread) . Impossible is nothing.

Edit: I completely forgot Mathematical Economist as well. He works as a nuclear Scientist and his cookbook has earned him International Award.

I'm so happy for the team, but I dont think gullyboy will be nominated, the last indian film Oscar's nominated was lagaan and that was 2001, so for 18 years they haven't selected an indian film

If it does get nominated it will be amazing, but i dont know wat its chances are

I was looking at the movies submitted for Oscars from India...to see how many times a non BW/Hindi movie was chosen...and since 1957....20 times a non BW/regional movie was chosen.......so its not like regional movies are never chosen...

and Devdas was an Indian entry for 2002?

....I mean bhaang khaaker choose kar liya kya.... 🤣

Some other movies I am looking at and thinking what were they even thinking while nominating these .....no wonder from 1957 until now only 3 movies ever made it to nominations.
