Roli woke up and got ready in a navy blue colour saree. She felt herself complete when she filled her hairline with sindoor of sid's name.
When she reached downstairs, she found a middle aged woman and a young girl of early twenties near the dining table.
"You both?" Roli looked at them surprised.
"We are here to work for you" that middle aged woman replied politely.
"Oh yeah.. i forgot about it" roli just got reminded of sid saying about the people he brought to accompany her.
"Now i understood how come a rough and tough siddhant bhai got married to you. Cause you look so beautiful" the young girl was admiring roli.
"Tanvi.." middle aged woman interjected the young girl as if stopping her from further talking.
"Maa" that girl pouted at her mother.
Roli smiled at her and said "so, you're tanvi?".
"Yes.. and she is my maa, sabita" tanvi introduced herself and her mother.
"Roli ji, we've already prepared breakfast. If you want anything else just let me know, i'll prepare it now" sabita said, turning to dining table as she arranged the plates on it.
"No, it's okay. I'll have whatever you've prepared. But, aunty.. please don't call me roli ji. It sounds like im an oldage woman. Just call me roli" roli said as she sat down on to the chair.
"Then can I call you didi?" Tanvi asked slowly from behind.
"Of course you can" roli replied with a smile.
"Have you both had your breakfast?" Roli asked looking at sabita.
"We'll have it later" sabita started serving while replying to roli.
"No. Have it with me. I can't have it alone" roli said dragging tanvi to sit beside her.
Sabita tried to deny but roli said it sternly and didn't start eating until they both join her. At last, all three of them had breakfast together.
After that sabita went to kitchen to cook for lunch. While roli and tanvi spent their time chit chatting with each other. Tanvi was just a year younger to roli and also so similar to roli in talking. In a short span of time they both got along really well with each other.
After having a good chat with tanvi, roli got to know how tanvi's father was about to sell her to veeru. But, before that could happen, Sid saved her and brought her and her mother, sabita, to his house. Roli felt so proud of Sid as she listened to tanvi.
Afternoon roli called sid, but he didn't answer. Understanding that he'd be busy, she didn't mind to disturb him and had her lunch with tanvi and sabita.
Then roli and tanvi went to garden, which was at backside of the bungalow and with in the compound walls. After spending some time there, they both returned to house.
Roli entered in their room and found sid standing near window and talking on phone. With a smile, she went near him and back hugged.
Sid hung up the call and turned to her side. Roli circled her arms around his neck and slowly pecked his cheek.
"You seem to be in a good mood" sid was surprised by her actions.
"Yes. Today I got to know about my beloved husband's great deed. I'm so proud of it" roli replied excitedly.
Sid chuckled as he said "what's there to be proud of?".
"About tanvi.. if you wouldn't have saved her.. don't know what would have happened to her" roli said, feeling bad for tanvi as her own father got ready to sell his daughter just for some money.
"If you remember well, your husband is a police officer. So, isn't it his duty to do that?" Sid stated matter of factly.
"Whatever.. I'm proud of my husband" roli pinched his both cheeks like a kid.
"Then reward your husband for his work" sid held her hands from pinching.
"Just a while, I'll bring coffee for you" before roli could turn to go, she was pulled back by sid.
"Who wants your damn coffee now?" Sid pulled her towards him by her waist.
"Then.." roli looked at him puzzled. But, the next second her eyes shut down as sid pressed his lips over hers'.
Roli gasped at his sudden action. Taking it as a chance, sid took in her lips and started kissing passionately.
After a while, roli pushed him away with a heavy breath.
"I got my energy drink" sid smiled mischievously. Roli playfully hit on his chest as she blushed with a smile.
"Had your lunch?" Roli changed the topic and stood beside him, looking out of window.
"Yeah. Went to bungalow so, had it there with all" sid turned to her, wrapping his hands around her waist from behind.
"I'm missing mausiji" after meeting sabita, roli got reminded of mausiji and she couldn't help but miss her.
"After everything gets settled, she'll come here and stay with us" sid consoled her.
Roli turned and looking at him, she said "then settle it soon".
Sid caressed her cheeks gently and wrapped her in his arms. Roli hugged him tightly, forgetting all her worries in his warm embrace.
- At veeru's place -
"Have you guys found her?" Veeru asked his gang as he sipped his drink.
"No.. not yet" they replied hesitantly.
"Where the hell this roli could have disappeared" veeru was totally pissed off. Since two days he was searching for her but got none of her whereabouts. He tried to contact her but he couldn't reach her, no matter how many times he called her number. He thought she might have blocked him. But, little did he know was that sid had brought her a new number and the old one was disabled. Sid was very cautious about roli, especially after knowing that veeru had got roli's personal number.
"Can you just stop running after that girl" rajveer walked into the hall, seriously.
"I'm not running after anyone. It's for our benefit. One single signature of roli is enough for us to get that land. We've to find her soon" veeru replied as he calmed himself down.
"She can sign the papers only if she owns that property, right?" Rajveer's words made veeru confused.
"What do you mean?" Veeru looked at him anxiously.
"Siddhant is ahead of you in everything. And he proved it yet again. That land property is already got registered on siddhant's name" rajveer placed a piece of paper on the table sitting before veeru.
"How come this is possible" veeru was left dumbfounded as he gone through the details written on the paper.
"Don't forget that siddhant has played a love game with roli. He might've made it done at that time" rajveer calmly analysed the situation.
"I won't leave that siddhant" veeru trashed the paper and thrown aside.
"That's what I'm saying. Leave roli and focus on sid, he has become the biggest hindrance in our way. Just because of him we had to repay the money we had taken to sell that girl to that foreigner. And also lots of stock got disposed on that day's police ride. If this continuous then we've to beg on roads very soon" rajveer said patiently.
"So, roli is of no use for us anymore. But, siddhant... I'm surely gonna kill him" veeru gritted his teeth in anger.
"That's not possible. We've to take careful steps to defeat him" said rajveer.
"That's not impossible either. And it's not just about defeating siddhant but.. to clear him from this world, once and forever" veeru smirked devilishly.
- At bharadwaj house -
In the middle of the night. Roli was sleeping peacefully in Sid's arms. Suddenly Sid's phone vibrated beside his pillow. He quickly opened his eyes as if he was waiting for it. Then he gently placed roli on bed and went out of the room, taking his phone.
"Bhai bhai bhai... You're a brilliant" sunny started as soon as sid answered the call.
"Come to the point" sid said rather calmly.
"Well.. your guess was right. Today rajveer has enquired about the land" informed sunny.
"And our plan?" Sid queried.
"It was well executed. And of course it has to be when the one who made the plan is siddhant bharadwaj" sunny again started his praising.
"But, bhai.. I really don't understand all these. I mean, what's the need of making fake certificates as if you're the owner of that land" sunny asked confused.
"Veeru will do anything to acquire that land. And for that he'll keep on trying to contact roli. But, if he got to know that roli has no connection with it anymore then he'll probably stop approaching her" sid replied calmly.
"So, all this is to keep veeru away from roli" finally sunny could come to a conclusion.
"Yeah. I just don't want to drag roli into this mess. It's better for her to stay away from all these things" sid said in all seriousness.
"But, now veeru is going to target you" sunny said worriedly.
"I can handle him. Don't worry. It's already late, go to sleep" sid said and hung up the call.
Sid returned to the room and found roli still sound asleep. He quietly slided on the bed and gently pulled her into his arms.
He gazed at her delicate face with undying love and passion. Slowly caressing her hairs, he whispered "I promise you, roli. I'll try my best to give you a peaceful life".
Roli tightened her grip on his waist and cuddled to him more as if she was responding to his promise. Sid smiled and gently kissed her forehead. Soon he too fell into deep sleep, hugging her in his embrace.
