It's just a possibility because YK's mom was also present so it has to be something more than just a dinner and also on the day of Ganpati visarjan Veena was keen on doing Kacchi Misri as early as possible..

Kacchi Misri allows two people to court each other after which Pakki Misri that is the ring exchange ceremony done. So they do have time to decide..
