10 years of Wanted. Will Salman Khan let the sequel happen?

Salman Khan's hit film, Wanted marked ten years yesterday and fans took to their social media to celebrate the day while also happened to be the one wherein the superstar's fate was revived. The film which was produced by Boney Kapoor also marked the directorial debut of Prabhu Deva in Hindi films and was a huge hit at the box office. For a long time now, talks about the film's sequel too have been making rounds in town and with the film completing ten long years, fans too have expressed their wish to see the Bhaijaan return with the second installment of the film.

Apart from Wanted, one also hears that Salman's another hit film, No Entry which also happens to have been produced by Boney is also in the pipeline for its second installment and the producer has even signed director Aneez Bazmee who directed the first part to take the sequel ahead. The signing amount for the film too has been given to Aneez but it's Salman due to whom the project isn't getting a green signal, he hasn’t given the nod yet.

For those who are unaware, Salman Khan’s career was sort of revived with Wanted that became a big success for him after a patch of not so successful films. The superstar was going through a lull in his career until 2009 when he bounced back in the game after producer Boney Kapoor roped him in for Wanted which was an official remake of the Telugu film Pokiri.

Now, reportedly, Salman has taken a very personal offence Arjun Kapoor dating Malaika Arora who in turn has been speaking about a cordial relationship with ex husband and Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan.

It seems Salman is has kept himself away from the film to be produced by Boney Kapoor and has kept the team hanging.

It is unfortunate that producer Boney Kapoor, who revived Salman’s career is now in waiting while the Khan is in no mood to work with him anymore.

It is a sad state of affairs in the industry that who revamps the career becomes the last priority. It won’t be wrong to say that Salman’s ignorance is not being human.

Boney Kapoor is currently tasting the success of his first Tamil production Nerkonda Paarvaai while his first Telugu film, an official remake of Badhai Ho is all set to roll soon and his Hindi film Maidaan with Ajay Devgn helmed by Amit Sharma, based on golden era of Football has completed its shooting schedule.
