today's episode was heart breaking on different levels.
1. mini is a child. no matter how mature she is, if someone questions the bond that has been your anchor for life then it will hurt. whether the society questions it, or HS indirectly questions it. she will break down very badly and her outburst is now what is needed for everyone to gain clarity. her outburst will give clarity to babita and HS as well since she is very much a part of both. literally and figuratively. her questions will show babita how much her venom hurt mini, because while she showed in actions how much mini means to her, a teenager going through such a phase is bound to question everything. even her birth.
her questions will also clear HS doubt and insecurities that she did not want him as a father. the issue is HS himself did not/ does not want to talk to mini. and mini does not know why HS behaved the way he did, why he questioned/ doubted her so much because of 1 CD.
her outburst will question all that babes said and all that HS said, and the society. i want her to question lala as well.
2. HS has his expectations set too high. knowing how much babes the mother cares for mini, he still expected her to be waiting as a bride, after everything he said and babes kept on requesting him to be quiet. she is still babes the mother, not babita the wife. and HS did not even bother talking about what happened, what he said, just started talking about his mother - which is not entirely wrong, but not correct either. And i did not like the sindoor dani scene. That box held the sindoor which his mom applied for an abusive husband. to give babita the same knowing what she has faced, specially without discussing anything... And to think that she will become his wife just because of some rituals and stop being babes...Also his questions in the morning about why babita didnt come back were again insensitive. so not HS. he usually understands but either he is too hurt to see anything or he is deliberately asking such questions- should become clear once his POV is shown. But whatever the reason literally attacking the mother is not the way to win your wife's heart. also the room sharing. HS has had a propoer married relation and would obviously be more comfortable sharing a room. but knowing that babita has never shared a room with her husband, he should have approached her and talked to her.
3. babes the mother - she is still very much the mother and she will always remain a mother first, not only because her and mini's relation was her anchor, but because mini was the only one with her in her times of need. HS supported a lot, but he did come a bit later. i cant fault babes the mother for wanting to check on her daughter. she realised how hurt mini would be after everything that happened. what she said to HS was needed. he literally seems to have forgotten that mini is there, that he has hurt someone who loves him a lot, forget love, that there is a young girl who had supported him in the past.
4. babita the wife - she does not exist for now. babita has never known what a husband wife relation is and she will find the balance slowly but surely. the wife will not be able to find the balance until and unless the mother finds the balance between her daughter and the father. and the mother who got married has made it clear.
5. lala - absolutely hate him. did not like the look he gave mini. he could have used better words to convey his message. he tells mini "tumhari zarurat nahi hai". is mini a piece of garbage to be thrown out? is she a piece of furniture that we sell once it is old? this was so not right. and why is he questioning/ advising mini. she is a child. why not try to talk to the adults before breaking the spirit of a girl?
HS needed to hear the words from babes. he very conveniently said, it is a small family, mother, daughter and father. when just a few hours ago he literally said that he could not be the father.
mini is a part of HS and babita's relation, no matter whatever anyone says. once a child comes into a husband wife equation, they become parents first. they always keep their children above and before all, even their partners. here the issue is that babes is already a mother but HS is not a father. now i understnad what the PH was trying to convey with the tweet. they used the wrong word "impress" becuase HS was not trying to impress babita or mini, he just did not realise all the responsibilities of being a father.
The precap - it seems as if babes is tensed about mini's whereabouts and she is hiding in her shell. HS expressions looked as if he ws least bothered. As if he did not care where mini was... though i will wait for tomorrows episode. maybe he just didnt know that mini was not at home.
